I have known David O'Neal for over 20 years and in that time have assumed payments on 3 vehicles through his Auto Management program. His company has earned a AAA Rating through the Better Business Bureau. The way the program works does seem too easy to be true, which is maybe why some people think it must be a scam. I can tell you from experience it's not.
Say you have bad credit but want a nice car. If you have solid income and can back it up with proof and verifiable references, chances are you can quailfy.
On the other hand, if you are in a lease or purchase contract and all of a sudden have financal worries that don't allow you to keep the vehicle, David can help by finding someone to take over your payments. You keep your good credit and can walk away from the vehicle without worry.
I had a Mercedes GWagon through the program. I got rear-ended and so the police came and we had to deal with insurance. I was nervous because I feared the paperwork David had given me would not be enough info to convince the cops that I had the right to be driving this vehicle. I was also afraid that my insurance company would not do the repairs needed because my paperwork wasn't in order.
Everything worked beautfully. The cops were fine with my Permissive Use statement and my insurance company did over $19K in repairs with no questions asked.
My experience with David O'Neal and Auto Management is nothing but good. I think the ripoff report on his company is not justified. I would recommend anyone do business with him with no reservations.

There is a grain of truth to this complaint. The individual Mike Pham (aka Max Martin, real name Mihn Pham) worked as an independent contractor for AutoManagement.com for several months before it was discovered that he was misrepresenting our company and its service and that he was being prosecuted in California for fraud. Our company cooperated with the authorities in California to see that justice was done.
As to the rest of the complaint, it comes from an individual that has a personal grudge against Mike Pham, who never had any direct dealings with this company and who once threatened to put AutoManagement.com out of business unless we paid him a great deal of money. AutoManagement.com has an "A" rating with the Denver BBB while, the last I heard, the person who filed this report was in jail.
