America's worst body shop. On Oct. 18, 2013 I bought my 1968 Plymouth GTX to Emmett McKinneys shop Automotive Custom Group for body work and paint. It is now 2 1/2 years later my car is in pieces he has been paid in full and today told me to take all my parts he removed [ lights, grille, bumpers, moldings, door handles, rear glass etc.] because he won't put back on. The fenders , hood and trunk also removed.
He recieved $4500.00 for labor for body work and paint and all he has done is strip my car like it was in a junkyard. The car has never been painted. I warn all of you not to go anywhere near **** ****** ***** **** , Clearwater FL 33765. He will take your money never do your car then leave it out to rust or get stolen.

Too expensive to repair, sold to shop because needed 13k to repair the poor work ACG did.

He refused to finish car and I was told to tow it away on 9/23/2016.

Had an appraiser look at car and it will cost more to fix than what I paid them. So 8k to them and more than 8k to repair their work. Called a few shops and they don't want to touch anything that he has worked on. Due to health issues I can't pay to get my car done again. I will post pictures of his workmanship, look how well the paint job is.

He was paid in full for complete job as checks he cashed said. I have a signed contract that he was paid in full, he just wants more money for doing nothing. Just remember he gave the estimate, cashed all the checks and now cries he is a poor vet and wants more money. In Florida it is illegal to change an estimate without my signature. He wasn't saying all this when he told the BBB that he would finish my car in May, guess he lies to them also. He painted my hood on Jan 20th after he got last payment. I will post a picture of car on May 27th and you can see no more work done.

Customer has paid for work that has been done. He brought us a rust bucket and now its rust free. We have moved car outside to clean shop and then back inside he now claims we left his car out to rust. We painted part of the car on 5-18 and on 5-20 claimed to BBB no work has been done.
This guy is wanting us to fully restore his car for 4500.
He has made complaints that hood was removed without his permission! but when he came to see hood in booth getting painted was happy as a clam...I dont know whats wrong with this guy i have told him that even though he has made these false claims just because he is pissed about how long it has taken i was willing to work with him on finishing if he would supply funding for the paint....
It seems he is just trying to build a case to sue to bad I dont have any money to take
Its sad that he is doing this to my business .Iam a disabled vet trying to get a business off the ground with no loans or outside help
