To save myself a lot of time I will just copy and paste the email that I sent to the florist to complain.

First let me say that what drew me to your company was that I was offered free shipping...only to realize that there was still a handling charge of $13 which I felt was deceptive. I went through with my order because of all the time that I spent picking out an arrangement and filling in my info.

The order was for a beautiful arrangement that was to be delivered to the funeral home for a loved one and was located 3 hours from my home. I was guaranteed same day delivery and requested it be delivered by 5:00 pm.

Secondly, I called back several hours later to place an order for a second floral arrangement from my parents. I asked if there was any way to waive the handling charge because I had placed another order online about 6 hours before. A manager was asked and a $9.99 discount was offered to me. I gladly accepted the discount. After a half hour on the phone with the florist I was told that the computer would not let her put in the discount so I could not have the discounted price. Then I asked if the arrangement could just be added to my previous order and possibly save on the handling charges that way but the woman on the phone told me that the arrangement from earlier had already been delivered to the funeral home, this was around 2:00pm. I thanked her and declined the second arrangement and called another florist.

Finally, I arrived at the funeral home several hours later, around 6:30 pm and there is no flowers. I asked the funeral director about them because the florist had assured me HOURS before that they had already been delivered. Instead of grieving with my family I am stuck on the phone with the florist for another half hour and was told that the flowers would be delivered the following day at 2:00 pm. That happened to be the exact time of the funeral service, clearly that was not going to work. I had to ask the customer service rep at LEAST 10-15 times for a refund, she just kept repeating "give me a second chance", beside asking the family to reschedule the funeral service there was no giving a second chance.

Your unprofessional services made me look like a heel for not having the decency to send flowers to the funeral home. I made it a point to tell the family that I did indeed try to send flowers, showed the confirmation email showing that the delivery was to be made by 5:00pm the same day.

I will never use your florist for anything again, I will highly discourage any friends and family from using your services too. I will scream it from my blog, and hope that nobody else will ever have to suffer the humiliation of making the mistake and using your florist even if it does offer "FREE shipping"
