On Oct 28th, I recieved a call from a company stating that I was approved for a Mastercard with a $2500 limit. They already had my bank information since I had applied for a car loan online, so I thought it was legit. After giving my information, I started thinking about it. I called the number "david" gave me to activate my card 877-247-0055. I got what sounded like a cell phone voice mail service, stating that they would call me back withing 24-48 hours.

After 48 hours, I called again. This time I talked to a female that sounded bored, and informed me that my card was already being processed, and it was too late to cancel. I then looked up the other number they gave me, which they explained was a debt consolidation company. That number was 866-890-2766. Lo and Behold! That number is used by Advantage Plus, who is listed on here.

Stay away from Avlis, Inc. (I found out the name of the company from the girl answering her cell phone only after I asked for it... it was never given to me directly.) I will be going to my bank tomorrow and demanding an ACH reversal.

; no annual fees, and 0% interest for 5 years (the dream card)except for an initial fee of $349. While talking with the gentleman on the phone he had never of heard of USAA Federal Bank, which is an extremely well known banking and insurance company, for military veterans and family. This was my first clue that something was not legit. He then proceeded to ask me for some administrative information, this was not a problem to me. He then asked me for my bank account numbers, this was a problem. I stated I did not feel comfortable giving this information over the phone. He proceeded to attest that his company was safe and everything is secure and legit. He would not stop harrassing me that his company was legit. I hung up the phone. He immediately called back. I did not answer the phone, and he left a voice message stating that he was going to "rip up" my processing application, but if I was still interested to call their customer service number at 1-877-245-0055. He called me from (416)759-7015 which is an Ontario, Canada phone number, but told me he was based out of New Mexico. I recommend staying away from this dream card program, that off the bat just doesn't fit how the credit card system works.
