Where do I start...

It took my wife and I an hour and a half to get the initial credit check, select a car and test drive it. It took the salesman, finance officer and whoeverelse OVER 7 HOURS to make up the contract.

We were blatantly lied to about what my intrest rate was going to be (over and over again). We must have told our sales person Shaun, that under no circumstances would we buy a car if the intrest rate was goin to be over 10% (this was expressed atleast 15 times throughout this horrible event) and we were constantly re assured that it would not be over 7% (this was after the initial credit check) it came out to be 13.24%. LIARS!

The Finance officer happened to convieniently not pont out the the intrest rate and the total amount financed. EVIL!

Lied about the Blue Book Value of the car, said it was worth $17,000 but we would only have to pay 12,000 for it. The blue book value from the NADA guide estimated it to be $8,300, and Kelley Blue Book's estimated retail value was $9,800. Added warrenties I didn't ask for or approve. DISHONEST!

Completely uncooperative when we tried to speak with the sales manager. He was extremely rude and absolutle no help at all, he didn't care that he was ripping people off.

When we tried to settle this matter through the finance dept. They said that the depreciated Ovr a couple thousand dollars as soon as we drove out the lot and that was why we couldn't re-finance. Yes it's true he really did say that.

A lot more wrong-doings. Too many to list.

Do yourself a favor and do NOT purchase or lease a vehicle from this dealership, they're worse that scum.

My experience in dealing with car dealers is that they rely on teh consumer's desire to "get it over" to drag the process out in an effort to wear the consumer's resistance down. I purchased two new cars in the last 2 years and the dealers tried this tactic both times. It was not THIS dealer, but they all do it. The solution is to WALK OUT. Just tell the salesman "I'm sorry but it seems we cannot reach an agreement on this deal." and leave. If they took your car keys, call the police. Those keys are your property until you sign the trade in over to them. Bring a cell phone with you - that way they cannot deny you access to a phone. When you pull out a cell phone and announce you are calling the police to report a car theft (in your loudest voice so other customers will hear) your keys will reappear PRONTO. After you have left, expecta call from the dealer pretty quick - usually within 24 hours - offering you better terms. If they still are nbot to your liking, just decline and get on with your life. If they are acceptable, make an appointment to come back and complete the paperwork. Some hints on the paperwork: The deal is not completed until your have signed the papers. You have to understand what you are signing. If the APR isn't to your liking, don't sign. Leave. If there are add-ons that you didn't approve of, give the papers back unsigned and have them removed. One provision I always insist be written into teh deal (that means in WRITING on the Sales Contract) reads "The seller will not dispose of the purchaser's trade in vehicle until this contract is funded by the lender."

Sorry, my bad! i've just been so angry with this whole situation I didn't get my point across. I'm not saying that what I have written was false, absolutely NOT false. But I didn't say they changed the interest amount while I wasn't looking, but that they told me one thing and put down another on paper. You have to understand I was at this sales event for over 8 hrs. w/ nothing to eat, my wife was litterally getting nauseous from being there for so long (she only lasted a little under 8 hrs, then had to leave). The conditions of this establishment were terrible (I was at a tent sale and it was raining, it rained all day, it was cold rain too). So, it was cold out and raining, everybody is crammed in this tent, there was only one vent heating the place (and very poorly I might add). Well why didn't we leave, you say. well we tried to, after we were there for about 4 hours we told our sales man that we would pick the car next day. But he said just another min we're almos done, just some technical problems. I'm rambling. The poinht that I'm trying to get across is that i've been there for over 8 hrs, my wife, the contract reader went home. anyway, the guy did not piont out the total amount finance or the intrest rate. all he did was point out the places that I was supposed to sign.I know I should examing everything before I SIGN ANYTHING. But you have to understand, waiting over 8 hrs. can wear a person down and not let them think clearly all I wanted to do was go home.

If I am reading your complaint correctly, you are stating that they did not put the correct interest rate on your purchase contract, there is a little section at the top that says your interest rate, and how much this credit will cost you over the length of the loan. Now I know they can play with the numbers for a trade in to help cover a definency...though many financial institutions are cracking down on that practice. But when ever they sell you a warranty, there is a section that they have to complete that covers "amounts paid to others", such as for warranties, GAP, etc.. Not that I am doubting you, I know car dealers are lower than lawyers, but can you post a scanned image of your contract, all of this should have been on their for you to inspect before you bought it.
