Axis Heating and Air Conditioning Affordable Heating & Air Conditioning The Owner/Technician overcharged me for Refridgerant R22. He charged me $87.50 per lb when the going rate is between $15-$25 per lb. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!! Saint Louis, Missouri
I was quoted $150 for Labor and $67 for the Service call. When they got there, I showed them where the leak was on the outside unit. They stated they would have to fill it with Refridgerant R22 once they were done repairing the leak. I understood and knew that would be required. He filled 6.8lbs of Refridgerant into my unit and charged me $87.50 per lb plus $25 for material. I'm not sure what the material was. The going rate of refridgerant R22 is $15-$25 per lb. The man who fixed my AC unit will not refund any of the money and feels that I should be happy that I am sitting in the AC and that it's fixed. He does not care that he ripped me off. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!! They are scam artists.

So you agreed to the repair and then after complete, you want a refund? ts really not any of your business how much the going rate is for it.You should not agree to the quote in the first place.
Why didn't you do it yourself? what no license purchase it? hum..maybe that is why you pay more.
