I have ordered products from Fingerhut for more then a decade. Since May of 2000 Fingerhut has become a nightmare. I had applied for a Fingerhut Credit Card and had been denied. However, I recieved a letter from a collection agency from the bank of AZSYS National Bank/Fingerhut stating that I need to pay a balance of $209 for a product that I had been denied.

I was contacted by TrueLogic. I sent the denial letter plus copy of all statements and sworn statement of not having recieved said product to TrueLogic and AXSYS National Bank, but never recieved confirmation or have heard from them again. unfortunately, it still remains in my credit reports as unpaid.

Believing that all matter had been taken care of, I had continued to order through Fingerhut on August of 1999 and had recieved two products but not the third, which they said was delivered on September of 1999. I had never recieved the product. In there records, as told to me by an agent of the present Fingerhut bank, Midland Credit Management, the fourth person I have talked to that day after three hangups, "the product had not been available so could not be sent". Yet, they are charging me for another product, which also had not been sent.

I have written three letters to Fingerhut through TrueLogic and AXSYS and have yet to recieve confirmation. I have a feeling this is not going to go away soon, but I will fight Fingerhut becuase I had always been a good long term customer until this began taking place. My next step is to file a police report and file a complaint against the fraud of Fingerhut.
