Axsys National Bank Fingerhut the ripoff business that doesnt give a dam St. Cloud Minnesota
My husband purchased a computer from them in 2001. The account was under my name & I did not give my authorization for the purchase. I didn't force the issue, though, because my husband wanted it & would pay the bill. I had always been a loyal customer, made my payments on time, and frequently dealt with them. The computer was for $1,000, and I purchased the additonal warranty on it. Not 3 months after we got the computer, it quit working. Axsys/Fingerhut did not want to honor the warranty, due to a MINOR software upgrade that had nothing to do with the computer crashing.
I basically told them since they wouldn't honor the warranty, to come pick the piece of garbage up, that I wouldn't be paying another cent. Now, almost 2 years later, the computer sits in the shed, awaiting for pickup that will never happen. I have put up with numerous calls & letters harassing me for the now $1600 balance. When we moved, I changed my number, and never got anymore letters. Recently, the account was sold to NCO Financial Systems. I will be posting another report on this company.
