Complaint Review: AZ MICRO MINI PIGS. -

Anita Jacobson owns California Mini Pigs, her reputation for EXACTLY the same type of bad breeding and lies was so bad she created a fake Mini Pig Certification company to improve her reputation. Her website now says everything the opposite of how she operates her business, which is the same as this original complaint. Her website now has the "certification" on it for "Mini Pig Breeders Inc" claiming honest, ethical breeding practices but that company is her, she made it up, so she is certifying that she is ethical and honest but she isn't. This is just wrong!! People are stupid enough to fall for it though.

My experience with Micro Mini Pigs has been very good and very professional.   Excellent breeder!  Love our micro mini pig and appreciate the information the breeder provides on how to care (and feed) it.  Actually her feeding plan is right in line with the instructions you would receive from Dr. Pol, the Veternarian on Animal Planet.

Scammed for $2,000?  Did you pay for a pig and now have that pig?  You love your pig and would change her for the world? Explain the scam?  I am an owner of a pig from AZ micro mini pig and we both know we got the same feeding packet. Please dont lie. The pigs are on youth food for the recommended time to 4 months, then switched to active then to elder. They do not start on elder.  and the portion is the manufactuer not a secret feeding plan. flip the bag over and learn to read.  Im also pretty sure you waited on a wait list like the rest of us and had plenty of time to see pigs at meetups, and farm visits before purchasing your pig.  or chose another breeder which you did not.  I also know being one of her customers I do not do social media due to my job and I dont send her pictures. That is my decision. I know many families start off strong sending in pictures and life happens and people move on for why some are shown more than others. Doesnt mean she is hiding anything.  As far as threatening messages? Sounds like you and the others are the type to "throw stones at those who live in glass houses"  Funny how no complaints in years and numerous ones within days of each other . Sounds like a witch hunt to me.  I will take my healty pig and 100% buy from AZ MICRO MINI PIGS again.  She was wonderful and I couldnt be happier with her.  The most helpful breeder I have come across with all my animals.  I appreciate all she has done and continues to do.

Ashley. no disrespect to you but these so called owners who "Support" you are the exact same woman who have tried to publicly destroy you.  i know for a fact they have written on many pages and articles about NOT to buy from you.  If they waited for such a long time and have all these resources to research WHY didnt they buy from you in the 1st place.  They had a choice and they chose az micro mini pigs for a reason. If they were so unhappy with their pig, why not return them?  And instead one girl bought 2?  That sounds like a happy customer to me.  They are just bringing you on board to try and hurt the breeder.  Trust me its not because they back your business .  Its a personal attack and has NOTHING to do with the actual business or pigs. 

To get any information on swine imports you can go straight to the USDA or the two quarantine places in the US, Floria or New York.

Numerous reports have circulated that breeders of ""tiny pigs have been imported and the USDA can confirm that this is not the case, I want to give potential buyers the tools to investigate these claims themselves.  

I am Ashley, the owner of Lil' Smokies Julianas.  Someone sent me a screen shot of this post to let me know I was being accused of creating a ripoff report.  I had to create a new account just now to be able to write this rebuttal because I have never been to this website before.  I do not know Suzzette of AZ Micro Minis and I have not written this, or any other review of her company.  Suzzette, if you are reading this, I'm sorry that you feel that I would be motivated to do such a thing.  I assure you that I do not have the time or motivation for negativity such as this.  There has been a facebook page created by Suzzette's customers where they regularly speak positivily of me and Lil' Smokies.  Perhaps this is why you believe that I am somehow involved in this ripoff report?  Because your past customers speak highly of my breeding program?  But if you follow that facebook page you will see that I have not spoken negatively of you.  In fact, the pigs that you have produced that are featured on that page are beautiful.  If anyone would like to verify this statement, the facebook page created by Suzette's customers is "AZ Micro Mini Pig Family"

This is Anita Jacobson and I have never bought a pig from Suzette and did not file this report or any other. Am I a victim or nasty breeders spready lies and slander on this site? Yes!  Do I believe for one second that Suzette has the smallest pigs? I really don't care what her claim is but do care about her customers because as the President of a non profit that helps pigs in needs its important to me that education about the facts is what is being spread. 

Known pig facts:

No healthy adult pig under 40 pounds exists

You can underfeed pigs to stunt their growth

Small birth litters are a result of underfeeding/malnourishment.

You can look up bloodlines in Juliana registry JPAR and track lineages and see for yourself the size of the ancestors (not hard) a piglet is not going to be smaller than its ancestors without tons of downsizing, it took Gottingen University 20 generations (not litters) to see a noticeable downsize, documented fact.

Pure potbellies rarely exist, since 1980's imports they have been downsized so other breeders having full pots is unlikely

Pigs can grow to 5 years, but can reproduce under 1 year, an undefed pig will grow longer, it takes more nutrients to grow and close growth plates. Some breeds such as the Meishan take 6 years to finish growing.

Quality, Ethical breeders will not focus on weight but overall health

You can feed a malnourished pig and it will become a healthy weight, its not going to alter its genetic predispostion

You can have your pigs evaluated by a Learning University such as UC Davis, Texas A and M and others intead of private vets. 

You cannot alter a pigs genetics (or any mammal) with diet, look at the parents, grandparents, great grandparents

Signs of an underfed pig:

Its back is hunched

Dull hair/eyes

Head too large for its body

Visible hip bones

Legs close together, can be seen best when walking

Visibily depressed looking or lack of energy

Its smaller than 40 pounds at 5 years old

Facts: 95% of my clients come to my house, are referrals or repeat customers. I have many vets as clients, we take back or rehome pigs that don't work out but because we sell based on actual facts, it rarely happens.  We sell  healthy pigs, we show all adults and prove their ages, we advocate for the TRUTHS about mini pigs, we are a certified breeder with 7 years experience with mini pigs and once believed in the tiny pig myth.   We have references, many listed publicly on my page. I have never wrote a rip off report about anyone but have been victim to several jealous breeders. I have no reason to be jealous of other breeders, we have established our reputation.  I have up to 4 generations here in many cases and can show healthy pigs, not underfed, not bred young and not huge. If anyone thinks a 12-14" pig is a huge potbelly pig they really need to do more research, original pots were up to 250pounds but the GoldStar registry has long been dissolved because the true potbelly is hard to find.  We would be willing to work with Suzette to get her certified you can see the qualifications at www.minipigbreeders.com a non profit, all proceeds go to helping pigs and pig owners in need.  You may contact me at [email protected] if you have questions or wish to discuss this further.  When I see a report is made annonymously, I instantly disregard it, if someone is telling the truth and advocating the truth they have no reason to be annonymous. 

There are many other circumstances behind Suzettes sales that are contributing to these posts, maybe she should get in contact with her clients, make things right and work it out with them instead of everyone airing their dirty laundry and dragging other people uninvolved this mess.  Please get in contact with her customers if you want to know what is really happening here.

 Suzette has been in business since 2009 not one complaint in all these years then all of a sudden two written within hours of each other. This is a setup by ashley aakre lil smokies breeder that lives 15 minutes from Suzette's home and Anita Jacobson with CA Mini Pigs (she has a ton of ripoff reports saying she's a lying snake) they are extremely jealous over Suzette and trying to sabotage her by spreading the word out in the pig community that she starves pigs. Customers feed their own pigs this is ridiculous. I own one of her pigs and it is genetically small. Who are you going to believe jealous breeders or a vet that specializes in mini pigs and all her hundreds of customers. Just look at her facebook page and look at her size and quality versus theirs. Their pigs are nothing but massive pot bellies not minis at all
