Bally's Fitness membership ripoff scam Baltimore Maryland
Hello You unsuspecting health nuts! Want to get a work out? Just try to cancel a membership! It is unreal. You will get a chance to work out your hands and arms writing letters, work your fingers dialing the phone, your back at the copy machine, and your heart as your blood pressure goes though the roof. One week after joining Bally's, we moved to an area that is not served by them. WHen attempting to cancel the membership we found out that a PO box does not count as an address. We were not notified for a month, then when we provided an electric bill, the name did not exactly match the name as it was on the hallow Bally "contract". Apparently if we provide them with a copy of our mortgage, a marriage certificate then they would possibly be willing to roll back the amount that we owe them. Never mind the fact that we started the process within 2 weeks of joining and that their records show that we never used a facility after the first week. The demands have been insane. It is easier to get a 1/2 million dollar loan.
DO NOT JOIN THESE FRAUDULENT BASTARDS!
Call the Better Business Bureau of Baltimore (410-347-3990) and they chuckle. You are just another in a long line of complaints.
