Purchased a man's automatic movement divers watch on-line from Balmer & Kalt. Their ads first appeared on Facebook. Marketing photo of the watch of interest appeared large enough to be a man's watch and the ad also said it had a German mechanical movement. I purchased it based on the logical assumption it was manufactured in Germany. After a week I checked on the delivery progress and noted this watch was being shipped from China. I had no idea this was a Chinese manufactured watch and was immediately suspicious of a possible rip off (documented accounts of cheaply made watches being sold at high prices over the internet are legend). Balmer & Kalt has no phone number or brick & mortar address so my suspicions only grew. I received the watch on May 24, 2017. The watch is cheaply made with a dial so small it looks like a women's watch. The watch band is unrefined with a cheap locking clasp mechanism. I contacted [email protected] and asked to return it since the watch was no more than costume jewelry. I was told NO REFUNDS and was pointed to some obscure passage stating no refunds on sale items. I had to look around to even find this notice. I feel I've been duped by underhanded advertisement and demand relief from this shady distributor.
