I got an email stating I could make money cashing money orders and sending them money because they said they couldn't cash money orders in their country. I took the money orders to the bank and cashed them, sent them money. The money orders came back a couple weeks later as counterfeit, and my bank took the money out of my account and I am overdrawn.

Can anything be done about a bank teller not doing his job right?

This is about the money order scam. I was wondering if anything can be done to the bank teller for not doing his job. Like, why didn't he call the money order place and check to see if the money orders were real or not. He never held them up and looked at them. And he never told me there should have been a 5 day hold on all money orders before they could be cashed. Can I sue this bank teller for not doing his job???? I am the one suffering with a bad bank account now. I have checks that bounced. The bank makes it sound like it's all my fault, but they was in the wrong to. They are supposed to know how to check on money orders and checks. WHY, didn't they check them for me. Is the bank trying to rip me off???? I need to know as soon as possible if anything can be done about the bank. Thanks
