Sorry, but NO you were NOT forced to take the bail out, I mean the STEALING our POCKET BOOKS. I would not bank at BOA thank you very much. There are MANY good banks who knew how to handle their clients money well and have chosen not to take the "bail out" I mean the STEALING of American's.In case you had not heard......and being an employee you know YOUR blessed BOA (ha! That Bank of "America") is a play on words isn't it, BOA"s fees are about the highest of any bank? So please, it is bad enough that BOA constantly hands out cc's to people who can not handle their finances( do not need a social security number eh?) yea, so I wonder, just WHY does BOA DESERVES to be bailed out? If we as consumers handled our finances like YOU guys have, you would no doubt be raising our rates, not getting a "bail out"! You do not deserve a bail out! You took money from many American's who worked very hard for it and messed them over!!!!!!!! The last place on earth I would put my money is in a BOA. My matress is safer than B OA! Believe it or not, I have heard Bank employees today talk about this bail out saying "their bank does not need it, but long as they will hand the money out they won't turn it down........" Sorry , that is stealing in my books. What happened to honest , moral people? Many banks are TURNING DOWN the bail out money saying they handled their clients money well and do not need the help. Now, that is a bank I will support. BOA is not one of them! If you have any morals and pride, you would not either.

Bank of america recently has been reviewing many accounts and raising their rates due to credit risk. They give the customers the option to "Say No" and stop using the card, and that way they will keep their original rate and pay down the balance. I know, its not a very good deal, especially now in hard financial times. And for the record, BoA was forced to take the 25 billion taxpayers money from the government. We didnt need it, but we were forced to take it. The TV show 60 minutes ran a special on that with CEO Ken Lewis. So the rep was wrong. You were right. I apologize for your rates increasing. I would recommend transferring off the balance to a lower APR card with another bank, or stop using the card and just pay down the balance(let BoA know).
