And did you 'Google' this- BANK OF AMERICA COMPLAINTS SECRET LIFE INSURANCE POLICIES, and read about all the other banks that allegedly have 'secret life insurance policies' on their employees lives, without their knowledge or consent?

Why when someone says something they don't like they default to "Oh you must work for them" and go to name calling. While I can not say for sure, I do not believe that she is a Bank Employee, and even though I don't know her I would probably be safe in saying the "bimbo" comment was out of line.
You are not very bright as you did not read my initial post. Susan, if they said they were interviewing at 3:30 pm for a loan specialist job, then they were lying and pulling the bait-and-switch for collectors as I stated. Read my letter you bimbo!
Perhaps you should re-read your original posting.
You stated "The rep at TWC told me they were having the job fair the next day and they were interviewing between 9am to noon and then again between 3pm-6pm." and "The next day, I put my suit on and got all ready and arrived at around 3:30 p.m. to apply for the Loan Officer Specialist position."
Ummm...Exactly where did you say that they were interviewing for the Loan Specialist Job at 3:30pm? As all I read is they were having a job fair from 9-noon and 3-6 and you showed up at 3:30pm. If you meant to add that in, then fair enough. But it is not what you said so before you go off calling other people names perhaps you should take a second look.
A few other things that seem to stick out. Did you call Bank of America to confirm the information. If not why are you blaming them. What if TWC gave you the wrong information. After all it's not like a Government Agency ever made a mistake.
Also, unless they specifically said to show up at 3:30(which again would have been something you left out in your original post). Why did you show up around 3:30, and what was "around"? There were probably people waiting at the Job fair BEFORE 9am(and BEFORE 3pm).
It sounds like you are expecting employers to wait weeks to make a decision. Well in the past that may have worked, because it could have taken weeks to get a decent number to select from. But currently they probably got more resumes in that 3 hour period than they needed, if there was a good one in there they are under no obligation to wait and "hope" that someone better comes along.
As for the "collection jobs"...it is a job. If someone wants a job bad enough they would take it, there would be no shortage of people applying for the job. Perhaps you should have gone for it. After all collection people get a bad wrap for their attitudes, perhaps you could have been the one to change that. Perhaps BofA gives priority and hires from within. If so in a few months you could have gotten the other job.
So if you are still looking for a job a couple of suggestions
1. Call to confirm the time of the Job Fairs.
2. Show up EARLY.
3. Don't turn your back on a job so quickly.
Good Luck
Oh and NO I do not work for BofA or any bank for that matter.

I'm a pretty bright person and I read your post. Based on what you said, they were having a job fair for multiple positions that day, including the one you wanted and gave you the hours they would be interviewing, for all jobs not just one. If they told you they would be interviewing for a specific position at specific times, YOU failed to state that in your original complaint. If so, then its a misunderstanding that you caused by failing to be clear.
As for them having already filled the position, they may have interviewed a "superstar" candidate and felt that no one better would be there. Or that the better candidates surely would have showed up early to show their enthusiasm and interest in the job. I can't speak to your qualifications so I don't know if you could have bested their "superstar." Maybe yes, maybe no. We'll never know.
So there was no bait & switch, does that even apply?, here based on what you wrote. They offered to interview you for an available position, just not the one you wanted.
I'm looking for a job myself, so I can understand the frustration of not getting one you think is great for you. Frustration? Yes. Disappointment? Yes. This level of anger? Not really. There are hundreds of thousands of people out of work right now. It takes a high level of effort to secure employment, which means standing with 10,000 people for hours to get in when the fairs start...no matter the weather. Which means being willing to take a lesser position to get your foot in the door. Which means taking a job that isn't quite what you wanted, to keep a roof over your head and food on the table.
Keep your chin up and I wish you the best of luck in your search for your dream job.

'Google' this- PEACE PRIZE POEM RIP OFF, and read all of the poems posted there, okay? You can also read the letter that was written and mailed to the Mainstream Media on 9-12-2007, which is posted there too.

If they had said that I had to be there between 9 am and noon for this job, I would have been there then. You are apparently a Bank of America employee and all those at B of A are parasites that take taxpayers money to bail their a*s out after they screwed up and then turn around and screw the taxpayers that bailed them out by raising interest rates on their credit cards before Obama's credit card regulations take effect.
Bank of America and it's employees are nothing but a bunch of parasitic losers and I wish Congress would have let them fail. Besides, Susan, should you be working instead of playing on the internet during work hours. No wonder Bank of America is such a failure with lazy employees like yourself who goof of all day. Quit playing on the internet and do some work - no wonder your company is in such a mess.

if that ever happened it would most certainly CRASH all stock markets around the world, wouldn't you agree? If Pakistan was ever overthrown by its people & the 'terrorists' who are now in that country, there would be the possibility that the 100 or so nuclear weapons that Pakistan possesses might be used on other countries, right? Especially countries who are allies of the USA, correct?

Karl forgot to take his meds.
Dallas, you were told they were interviewing between 9am to noon and then again between 3pm-6pm.
If you really wanted a job, why were you not lined up before 9am with your degrees in hand?
You put on a suit, showed up at 3:30pm and said I want to be a Loan Officer Specialist.
Sorry kiddo, the people who got those jobs were there waiting in line before 9am and didn't get hired that day. They had to to go home and wonder as their resume was compared against the thousand others submitted before noon.

To Iamgood: it won't do you any good to contact the editor about Karl. I've done it several times and they take free speech seriously (hence, the site). So we must slog through his nonsense to get to real posts.
To Karl - no one cares! We all know the Dow dropped, and it was predicted, and Toyota is evil (as is Wal Mart and everyone else you rail against). My portfolio is already ahead of where it was before the crash so I'm happy and trying not to dwell on the negative. After all, the stock market is all about risk. If you can't take it, don't play the game.
To the OP: I must disagree with Iamgood. I think it was bait and switch but you'll never be able to prove it. BOA sucks. You are an articulate writer so I hope you find something better than BOA.

Karl:
You are an idiot. I am going to email Rip Off Report, and request that they BANISH YOU FROM THIS SITE.
You need to go home and take your meds.
As for the Original OP, why did you wait until 3:30 to go to the job fair, when they told you interviews started at 9 am??? BOA probably found the best candidate early in the day, and they were anxious to hire them before someone else grabbed them.
Obviously you were not that desperate for work because you waited until the end of the day to go hunt for a job. Did you not realize that looking for a Job is your full time job? I guess sleeping in each day is your full time job.
Well, if I were you I hope you accepted the collections position, it can pay fairly well, and you can always look for another job while earning a living.

might be hiring, right? You should contact bank of America's corporate headquarters and ask them which company does all the "DEATH SWEEPS" for them so the executives can receive their extra money.
