I am writing to the Bankruptcy Resource Company IT Department, who seems to be very fraudulent in both their online website and the letter that I am attaching to this email. And, I am also sending this to the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) & the Federal Trade Commission (FTC).

I believe that this company is both fraudulent & misrepresenting what they can do for a person who has suffered a bankruptcy. The only thing that this company offered when I called was to make a new purchase (a car), which most people who have suffered a bankruptcy cannot afford. It's companies like these that end up offering people opportunities to climb back in the hole that they just climbed out of, I want to know if there are any repercussions for these types of companies, who seem to hurt more than they help. Especially when they offer to do things that they cannot do and represent themselves as being able to offer a credit card from a bank that they are not even affiliated with!?! And offer people an online secure application that is NOT SECURE when there is so much identity theft out there?!

You will see the many discrepancies with their online website and the letter that I received in my mailbox. Their online Application form that they say is 128 bit encrypted is NOT. An encrypted web page starts with https:// and has a lock on the lower browser window. They put 2 small pictures of Gold Locks and assure the people filling out this page that it is 128bit Encrypted and secure. Their web page starts with http:// (NOT A SECURE PAGE). Here is a sample of a secure website: https://www.ftccomplaintassistant.gov/FTC_Wizard.aspx?Lang=en where I can file a complaint about your company. NOTICE THE 'S' in the URL?

I clicked to apply for the Orchard Bank Credit card on your homepage and the links are broken. When I spoke to your sales rep "Dallas" she said that you are not affiliated with Orchard Bank and she did not understand why you have that credit card offered on the homepage of your website.

I called the 2 phone numbers on the website. When I called the Top 888 # it was an Identity Theft Company. When I called the lower left 888# their is a message that "This number has not yet been reassigned".

I hope that you reconsider putting such a bogus website online, or sending letters to try to trap people who have had some unfortunate luck and are struggling with their finances. I truly hope that the FCC or FTC can investigate your company and find out what you are trying to pull, if indeed you are misrepresenting your offers and promises to help these people re-establish their credit.

I certainly hope that you remove the form on your website that is NOT A SECURE page, in order to assure that the people who are not as website savvy who fill out your form with their personal information can possibly have people their information stolen...that is IDENTITY THEFT !!!

Reconsider what your company is doing and if you want to start a company with a website, be sure that it has YOUR Phone numbers listed on it, if you offer the option to apply for a credit card, be sure that you are able to offer that credit card legally and youu are affiliated with the Bank Card that you post on your website. And if you offer a secure page for an online from, be sure that it is a secure page!!! And above all...Don't take advantage of people who are already financially strapped and going through hard times.

I tried to email all 3 of their email addresses, listed on their website and this is what I got back:

I could not believe that I found comaplaints about this company and reports as far back as 2006 and they are still contacint people by mail and giving their bogus website address and trying to take advantage of people. I reported them toboth the FCC & FTC. Do these companies do anything to stop these magots???
