Tell us has your experience with this business or person been good? What's this?

Banks-Haus German Shepards is a scam in Stockton CA. He portrays himself as a legit breeder and drops names of folks and other well known dogs to gain your confidence. He doesnt provided registered litters but states they are registered with AKC.

Obviously he is a total liar! I purchased a puppy from him and the dog is a good looking dog and well mannered and good temperment but he failed to register with AKC as promised for the litter and now the dog is unregistered and cannot be bred to my female next year. I am furious that I fell for this and wasted my money.

Please dont purcahcse from him or do business with this guy - save your money and go to a well referecned breeder ... my mistake.

P.S. All the folks who read this and decide you are going to tell me to go to a shelter and get a dog that is homeless tell that to the people that are allowing their dogs to run wild around your neighborhood and getting mixed with every pit bull in town. I tried this before and they are all pit bull mised in the area andf those dogs are nust and not going to be around my kids when I dont know the history. thats why I decided to get a GSD and raise them in my home, where i know they are treated well. Not that I needed to defend myself to all of you anyway. But dont waste your timie telling me how shameful I am, if youre that concerned about the homeless shelter dogs - then you go adopt them all!

I think you are very misinformed. The dogs from Bankhaus ARE AKC. Sometimes it takes time , many months to up to a year to get dogs registered, and registering litters is not instant either. To protect puppies, most breeders sell dogs on limited or no AKC to prevent people from randomly breeding dogs that can produce random genetic issues. Some breeders even hold on to papers until a dog is SPAYED AND NEUTERED, or has hip and elbow X-rays.. and even AKC says that is JUST FINE- why not go look up the AKC rule book.

Considering you only have a puppy, and a WHOLE year to worry about breeding- jumping to slam people on the internet doesn't help your cause. How is this going to look on you as a future breeder ? How are other breeders going to look at you, jumping to slam people for things that are normal in the dog breeding world ? What about your future buyers ? Now will they have confidence in your dogs registration, DNA, or even in your knowledge ? Who would want to buy a dog from someone that doesn't even know it takes time to register dogs ?

I bet your dog is beautiful, considering Donald's dogs are MOSTLY DNA/AKC/SV show and working titled German imports.

Good Luck to you, sounds like you have a lot to learn about breeding before you have your first litter.
