Tell us has your experience with this business or person been good? What's this?

I sent in our paperwork and shipped the cars from my shop on the east coast to the auction, and was told when I got there that I had a problem with a VIN that the people in the office didnt catch earlier. They waited until I got there to tell me there was a problem I wasnt aware of even though I sent our papers in months earlier!!!! When I got there I had an exchange with some new jerk named Mike McCullough (who said he is Gary Bennett's replacement) who talked to me like I was a kid, really condescending, and he said he could help me but WOULDN'T because he was too busy and had more important people to deal with. I used to deal with Gary and Brian all the time, and they always were more than accommodating if I ever had a problem with a car. Mike's behavior is unacceptable, and I'll never do business with them again!

Clear Titles

I'm not affiliated with Barret Jackson in anyway.  I want to clarify that upfront.

As a consignor, it is 100% your responsibility to provide a clean title to the auctioneer.  It is not their responsibility to fix any of your mistakes or errors.  If they do, it's a nice consideration that you should be extremely grateful for receiving.

It sounds like you were upset and took it out on the poor guy doing the paperwork.  You should always expect to be treated exactly how to treat another.  I know they sell hundreds of cars via multiple rings at the same time. I've watched some of them.

I agree he had more customers to process and needed to get ALL his work done for a successful auction for all parties involved.

Being considerate and friendly will always get you farther than the being the opposite.

An Auctioneer cannot sell a vehicle that does not have a clean title.  Period.  It is your responsibility to clear titles prior to registering your vehicles.  You sign a legal document saying you WILL provide a clean title for transfer even before your item is accepted for auction.

Your issues are not the fault of this company or its employees.  Furthermore, your "complaint" should not be allowed on this website.  You were not ripped off.  You are the one who failed to deliver.

Harsh but true.
