Bay Area Business Council, BABC Credit Card Fraud! Dirty SOB's Largo Florida
A year after my bankruptcy I was contacted by this company by the name of Bay Area Business Council or American Leissure Card! They advised that since I needed to rebuild my credit card they were the ones to do it! They advised that it was only a lifetime fee of $199.90 and an additional $10.00 a month. The monthly fee was for a reporting they sent out to the Credit Bureau stating that we were making payments even if we did not use the card.
They advised they would send out a welcome package and I would receive my card four weeks after. They automatically took off the money from my checking account and I never received the welcome package.
Last night I called the toll free number and a message plays that they have been closed until further notice.
As I was researching they have been closed and now going on trial. I will never TRUST any telemarketer again!!!!
I hope the judge makes them give all of our money back to us! Don't be FOOLED!!!!!!!!!!
