BCTI ripoff charged high price for 3 1/2 mos of school broke promise to help me get a job Bellevue Washington
I started BCTI August of 1991 and graduated November of 1991. At the signing of the papers they promised me that I would learn alot of hands on with all their high technology equipment. They also assured me that at the completion of the course they would help me get into a good paying position. I did go to a couple of interviews but at the end of them they told me that I needed more training and once I receive that then I was to contact them (companies).
I then went back and told BCTI that I was told this. BCTI's comment was "well those interviews were for training so you can get use to them". I was not happy. By August 1993 I found a job with Toy's R Us. I felt that the money I was charged which was about $3000+ for 3 1/2 mos of schooling was ridiculous. Its now 2004 and I am still trying to pay the loan off. I think I should get my money back that I have paid into the loan. So if there is a lawsuit please contact me. I am very much interested in giving my 2 cents + worth about BCTI and how they rip people off and lie about how they can change your life for the better in giving you skills so you can be on the road to financial security.

You filed a rip-off report. So, it looks like you want some of your money back. I was trying to think of a way for you to do that. That's all. I never heard of BCTI before. I have no idea how they worked. If you want to keep the loan details a secret, that is OK. But, then nobody will be able to figure out a way to help you. I'm sorry if I asked too many questions. I'll let you handle it by yourself. Good luck!

Paul, for one I did give certain information on what I went through with BCTI. Are you an employee of BCTI and is that why you are asking alot of questions? BCTI stands for Business Computer Training Institute and yes they are a training school in computers. I took the course that last 3 and half months and yes I did all the work and learned the basics but they promised me that they would make sure I got a good job. So yes I did walk out of there with the basics in computers but I also walked in there knowing some computers already. Like I stated before the course cost me $3000+ and it was through a loan and lender who paid the cost to BCTI. Its really none of your business how much I have left to pay or if I paid it off.

Pam, you sent in your 2 cents worth. But, you left a lot out. You only provided 1 cents worth. First, what does BCTI do? Training? What kind of training? Did you take the training? How long did it last? Did you do the work and try to learn? Did you get anything out of the training? How much did you pay? To who? Do you have a loan? To BCTI or a lender? How much have you paid off? How much is left to pay?
