I never in my life have heard of this company until i seen their opportunity listed in a A&R submission list for music. The music submission list stated that the company "Beatstars" was a Top Music Licensor, for example: your music placed for Film/TV Licensing type of thing. But when i got to the website it was completely different, they don't license your music, they run some type of fake distribution service as if you can trust them like any other major retail store, they have fake promotion services with fake A&R promo packs that says you can purchase listening sessions but those A&Rs aren't even decision makers for the music industry. When i asked a person at their Zendesk, do you guys license music they said no but they just allow you to license your beats, but this site is nothing like SoundClick which is legit and charges no monthly fees for producers to sell beats. But my problems with Beatstars is #1. I was given a 3 month free trial to the site but what made it bad was having to pay a yearly subscription fee just to access a free trial.

#2. After my free trial ended, i got a email from Paypal saying that Seemo Media Group canceled my automatic payments but the tricky thing is that i paid for the subscription with a different card that wasn't in my paypal and normally whenever you have a problem trying to pay online, you get an immediate email saying that "card was declined" or "please try another card" but no. I never got a email from BeatStars saying that my card failed, but i remember getting the email for becoming a PRO subscriber from the Beatstars email. #3.The $89.91 for a yearly PRO subscription left my card and Beatstars tried to cancel my service through Paypal by trying to charge my PayPal account, NOTE: THE ONLY WAY THEY KNOW MY PAYPAL EMAIL IS BECAUSE THAT'S WHERE THEIR SUPPOSED TO SEND MONEY TO!  + My Paypal account never showed this as a Pending or Complete transaction, meaning that Beatstars was trying to charge me after they been paid already. If Paypal had anything to do with this from the beginning, then i would've gotten a Paypal email notification about this order just like all Paypal purchases.Right? So now my Beatstars PRO subscription is a free account again and that's $90 gone for no reason. Be careful with these guys.
