Beazer Homes New Construction home and the concrete is already cracking in less than 7 months, Internet

I purchased a new construction Beazer Home in Feb 2010. In Sept I noticed a crack in front of the main entrance which extended to the mortar joints in the bricks beneath the front door. I contacted Beazer and their fine (not) rep came to my home and told me it was not structural and I should read my warranty (three times) it wasn't covered. I told him I guessed poor workmanship wasn't covered by Beazer either. I contacted the BBB and Beazer gave the old, Shrinkage of concrete answer. That is used by contractors who have a$$ do their jobs.
I worked in the concrete business for about 10yrs, and if the site is properly prepped and slump is correct you won't have these type problems. I could go on and on about this but the fact remains I have a crack in my porch directly in my front door, and nothing I can do but pay to have it repaired myself. If you're thinking of buying a Beazer Home think again. Find a reputable builder, and not one of the house mills like Beazer. I made that mistake and it's costing me every day. I guess "Buyer Beware" applies to this company, and I should have researched the company before purchasing. My dream home for this single disabled vet has turned into something I'm just not happy with anymore. The smile on my face has turned to one of anger at my new home.
