Beazer-Raleigh is crap! They plant dead trees, the foundations have huge cracks. The whole top floor shakes like an earthquake is forming because the washer is on spin, they plant dead sod, they "SAY" they will repair nail pops etc but the turnover is so high that the managers/supervisors refuse to do the work said by their own employees.

The material cost is up for this company because the ones that wear the Beazer logos are the ones that are stealing. When a family does their final walk-through, the builder leaves a window unlocked and comes back and steals the appliances. He steals sod on a weekly basis on the back of his truck and other materials. Many think it is the day laborers but when night falls, it is his truck you see.

dear lyn, I appreciate your observations on beazer homes. how long did you live in the house before all of these problems started? when you did your walk thru did you noticed anything then? these sub-contractors, did you try speaking with them to get the matter resolved? did anybody at beazer in the higher ups try to help you? i kind of find it hard to believe that a company this big didn't help you. i'm in the process of going to a beazer development in holly glen in holly springs, nc. i'm not a first time home buyer, considering i helped build my own. i've dealt with many contractors in my 9 yr home ownership and i've always found that they would always fix or repair any defect in the work. this is my first time to buy from a builder. i don't want to go in blindly so if any body has any suggestions on this builder or any in the area of cary, nc please let me know.
