BeFrugal.com is a click-thru portal for cash back from online shopping. However, unlike the better sites such as Ebates and MrRebates, BeFrugal WILL NOT PAY in all cases.
In my case, I clicked through to CardCash.com when they were advertising 1% back on GiftCards and because the deal was too good (I spent nearly $1000 --- which is the limit), they decided simply to keep my payment in "Pending" status for months. That's not unusual with cash back portals, but when I emailed them about it, they told me this:

Hello,
Thank you for contacting BeFrugal.
This inquiry is still listed as Pending because we never received a response from the retailer. CardCash closed their affiliate program prior to responding to this. We have left it pending in your account so it can be re-visited if the retailer chooses to re-open their affiliate program with BeFrugal in the future.
Best regards,
Todd from BeFrugal.com

In other words, you WILL be hung out to dry by them.
I have had the same experience with Ebates; they simply apologized and paid me because the link was valid when I parted with my money. In contrast, BeFrugal will RIP YOU OFF.
Suggestion: stick with the majors and avoid this shoddy knockoff.

I was ripped off by BeFrugal as well and after much back and forth, the dispute culminated today with Todd, a BeFrugal staff member. Shortly after our final exchange, a backscatter attack was launched against the 2 email addresses my wife and I have registered with BeFrugal. Out of 60+ email addresses registered to my domain, only these 2 addresses were attacked. Moreover, I have not used these email addresses anywhere but BeFrugal so I am 100% certain that the attack was initiated by one fo their staff. Simple logic suggests that Todd is that person, though I wouldn't put it past Jon Lal either, as he clearly has no sense of ethics.
