Complaint Review: Belinda Nunez - Kissimmee Florida

In September 2015 l was looking to buy a house. l saw a house for rent and or for sale. l rented the house at 1239 Wyndham Pine Drive; Apopka, Florida 32712. The rent amount was higer than l wanted to spend ongoing for rent which is $1750.00, so l was eager to purchase the home and get a mortgage much lower. my plan was to do that asap. By this time l had made my landlord aware of my plan to purchase the home and we discussed the selling price and l went online seaching for a company that could help me.                                                       

So, l went surfing online and came accross this advertisement that says .... Path to Homeownership, l called the number listed and spoke to Belinda Nunez, she explained how she can help me to purchase the house and l would pay around $1200.00 monthly right away for rent, and after 6 to 12 months the purchase would be finalised, she explained the reason for that period is they would do all repairs that was needed to the house. Being that l was already living there she said it would be very easy to do. She went by the house as l was at work and my son was there to let her in, she claimed she needed to take note ofall that would be needed to be repaired, she even took picture of things she said needed repairs and she sent them to my cell phone.              

After that, the next step she was going to meet with me at my job, which she did and she talked some more on how she would proceed. She asked for an application fee of $50.00 which l gave her. l asked her how would the home would be purchased she said she would have her broker do up the purchase offer and sent it to my landlord. l gave her all his contact information. Then, she said she will need a deposit which would go into escrow. l gave her $3000.00 in a check and she had me sign some papers she brought about purchasing the house. Before l signed l asked her how was the purchase going to be was it a traditional sale? she said yes, she said she had a few lenders. l asked her for my cpoies of the papers she had me signed she said she only had one copy but she would email them to me with the hard copies following in the mail, so she left and like a week l got no email, l call she tells me ok she about to send it, Two weeks nothing, l called she apologies and ask me to text my email address. Then l called her up still nothing from her, she proceeded to tell me she had her brooker to send the purchase offer to my landlord.                                                                                                   

I asked her for a copy of the purchase offer, and of course l never got it from her or Jose 321-245-6905 and his company is called...True Realty Group. l kept calling her and each time she tells me something. l started calling Jose and he saying its her cause he gave it to her to sign and he have to wait on her. Well, my landlord contacted me and ask me where l found that lady because the offer was totally redicilous. l then asked him to please email me a copy, thats howw l found out that herejected that offer she presented without my knowledge she wrote up an offer totally different than what she ld me to believe, she wanted my landlord to do a owner financing and stipulate some rediculous arrangement. l was livid, and frustrated at this point. then l called her up she start to blame me!!! l tell her listen, you know the offer was rejected and kept stringing me along, l NEED MY MONEY BACK!!!! She said she would send me a cancellation letter which l should sign and return and l would recieve my full refund back. Needlesss to say, l have not gotten my money, she stop taking my calls, l call Jose, he was upset cause he said she told him she would refund my money back.                                                    

l paid a law firm $100.00 to write her a letter. She responded and asked for 2 to 3 weeks since November last year.  then l went to the BBB and filed a report, they replied to me that she returned their mails to them. l am not able to pay another $395.00 to file in the courts as l am struggling to pay the $1750 monthly for rent amoung the other monthly bills. l am hoping if you could kindly help me and if there is a fee it could be paid from that money she has yet to refund me. l cant afford to lose all that money. l have been having sleepless nights and stressed ever since.
