I spoke to Don at Bendron Trailers. Don apologized for not managing the situation properly in the beginning. Don agreed to fix all of the problems with my trailer and offered these options:
Bring the trailer to Bendron (at my expense - 760 miles one way) for no charge repair or repair the trailer myself (Bendron to provide all parts at no charge - labor not covered).
I am not happy about having to absorb the cost of getting the trailer to Bendron then back to me so Bendron may fix their defects but I do acknowledge that their warranty does state that transportation is not covered.
Thank you for your help Don. I appreciate it.

Don with Bendron Trailers agreed to fix the trailer and apologized for not managing the situation better in the beginning.Under the conditions of the repair I must either take the trailer to Bendron (760 miles one way) or repair the trailer myself (Bendron providing parts at no charge).
Though I am not happy that I must absorb the cost of getting the trailer to Bendron so they can fix their manufacturing defect I do acknowledge that the terms of their warranty will not cover transportation or local repair.
Thank you Don for your help resolving this issue.
