Tell us has your experience with this business or person been good? What's this?
I have been a client of Bernard Haldane Associates since 01/05/2001 and I have been charged $4005 in advance with the hope of BHA helping me to find a better job. I strongly believed that BHA was a very reputable company and they always put the clients and their satisfaction first as a result of their professional looking advertisements. As a result of my belief, I have ignored all the negative feedback regarding the company and their sales tactics (which I believe was one of my biggest mistakes).

However, soon after signing the contract an emergency came up and I need to be leaving the USA very soon. As a result I am not going to use its systems and I am not going to remain as a client. I strongly believe that charges of $4005 for the services (which will never be used and never be delivered) is only going to put me in an extreme financial difficulty unless they are refunded. I strongly believe that refusal to honor my request would prove that advance charges on a credit card are much more important then the client and the client satisfaction regardless of the services are delivered and/or the promises are kept or not.

The company has been almost ignorant about the urgency of this situation and refund for me. I was told that my file was being sent to Home Office in Cincinnati and I would be dealing with them regarding this issue. I do appreciate that but my credit card was not sent to Cincinnati and it took only about three minutes to be charged in the Louisville office after the sales pitch which was delivered by Mr. William Weber (Senior Vice President of Client Services). As a result I have expected them to honor my request and my choice of not being a client and refusal of their services. Actually I am still waiting for a resolution and hopefully I can post the good news?? or at least an update.

Please make sure you think very well before you make a decision. Otherwise you might end up paying your credit card bills regardless of the situation you are in and on top of that you might also end up having an updated resume for thousands of dollars and a password to their web site and job search engine which is far less efficient and functional then the major job sites such as monster.com or headhunter.net
