Bernard Haldane ..Another Near Miss ..glad I found this site!
I am so glad I found this site! I have already gone through the first meeting with a Benard Haldane representative in Oklahoma City and my skin was just crawling. Henry Dumas is the "Regional President" of the OKC location and is whom I met with. He asked all sorts of questions and continuously said how marketable my skills are.
He asked me to come back this coming Monday (10/15) for a second meeting. Here he and a few others would develop a strategy for getting me on my way to a new job. Towards the end of this first meeting he mentioned that he would discuss the "fee" in the second meeting. This got me thinking and calling people for their thoughts.
Today I did the search on them and this site was number one. I am very grateful to all of you who have posted on this company. The fees you are speaking of would financially ruin me if I could not recover it in a matter of weeks. I am calling them Monday morning and canceling the second meeting and stating specifically why. I will just have to find this "hidden" job market myself. Again, thank you for saving my finances.

I am glad I found this site. I, too, was about to go to the second meeting but am cancelling first thing in the morning. It is unbelievable reading these comments. Exactly the same things happening to me. I posted some resumes on some job sites (monster, hotjobs, etc.) and got the same e-mail invitation mentioned in another comment (exact same wording). Met with a VP (I was actually impressed, until I read here that all their initial contact persons are "VPs"). Invited to bring the wife, etc. I wish I had a friend at the local television station's undercover bureau; I would wear a wire and hidden camera . . . Thank goodness I do have a job and have plenty of time to do my own legwork and avoid thousands in fees. My thanks to all who wrote and opened my eyes.

Just wanted to say thank you for reporting results on Haldane. I went for my first meeting in Tulsa last week. How frightening to know that these reports replayed my exact meeting with Haldane. I too met with a VP who pumped me up on finding a new job. Then she invited me to bring my husband in so we could do a couples consultatiion. THANK YOU for saving me from wasting time and money on these folks!
