I'm a retired veteran of three wars. I noticed on an invoice from Best Buy that I was being charged FEES. No specific label-just FEES. I went to Best Buy and ask what are these Fees I'm being charged? Clerk related he wasn't sure-ask a supervisor-He related Oh, that's a Dept Protection charge. I then related what is Dept Protection-he then said he thought it was protection just in case I lose my job or something. I related how did I get signed up for a protection I'm not aware of nor would never want nor need? He then gave me a number to Debt Protection. I called and found out to my horror I've been paying for this service since Aug 2007. I ask the representative to cancel that service I didn't knowling signed up for and please send me documents or whatever you have showing how I became a willing partner in you taking out Fees each time I purchase certain items from BEST BUY. I ask how much have I been charged for this service I didn't even know what it was until you just told me? He/she related  its approximately $450.00 or more. I then requested a refund of total charges. She told me we will submit the request and it should be OK because I was a disabled Veteran before I signed/or became a party to this service. I  finally recieved  a notice from BEST BUY CREDIT SERVICES (dated April 17, 2014) that they were crediting $20.41 back to my BEST BUY ACCOUNT for three billing periods of account protection. This is unaceptable!

Without any connections to Best Buy I would never have these fraudulent charges on my BEST BUY INVOICE. BEST BUY is responsible for this THIRD PARTY AGENCY AS WELL AS CITY BANK AND CAPITOL ONE BANKS charging people unknowingly about a service they didn't knowingly sign up for.

Be on notice BEST BUY, CITY BANK AND CAPITOL ONE-I will let the world know how you've cheated customers that purchase items from BEST BUY. SO FOR ME BEST BUY IS MY TARGET.

STOP BUYING ANYTHING FROM BEST BUY-IF they allow this third party to commit these fraudulent actions/charges they BEST BUY IS RESPONSIBLE AND SHOULD BE CHARGE AND PENALIZED FOR THIS ACTIONS.

Today 04/30/14 I talked to Debt Protection members from Ft Worth Tx. They related the DEBT PROTECTION services are not offer any longer.

BestBuy conducts Fraudulent Services

I've ask Best Buy (Electronic Store) to send me proof how I knowingly accepted a service I didn't know I had nor would ever want nor need. After several months Best Buy TM Credit "Card, P.O. BOX 790441, ST. LOUIS, MO. 63179-0441. send me a very small cut off paper with BESTBUY card on it, no date that has PROTECT YOUR ACCOUNT WITH ACCOUNT SHIELD, am. OPTIONAL MONTHLY DEBT CANCELLATION PROGRAM at the top-some small fine words in between then they have a signature they say is my signature with no date. THIS IS NOT MY SIGNATURE. Some one at BEST BUY has attempted to copy my signature. THIS ISN'T MY SIGNATURE. BEST BUY is/has conducted fraudulent business with many people. This particular service would have continued if I had not identified that it was FRAUDULENT and cheap. Only after I complained for several months they stop this Debt Collection Service just recently.

AVOID BEST BUY AT ALL COST. There are better services/companies to buy the type of items they sell. AMAZON FOR ONE. I've started my purchases buying elsewhere. I'm only very sorry I'm paying for another purchase I made with BEST BUY before I realized they are "CHEATERS, LIARS, AND WILLING TO CONDUCT FRAUDULENT BUSINESS TO MAKE MONEY. I also read thru Consumer Reports-BEST BUY--they are at the bottom of stores that conduct similar business-at the very bottom. I'm a living, breathing customer of that.

Also one more thing-with the letter sent from BEST BUY Credit Card Services within the letter they list if you have any questions-call Customer Service//Best Buy Credit Card--1-888-574-1301. When i called this number I hear--24 hr Info HotLine-Property Code. "If you can see the house number" press 9 or code press 2 or for instruction press 9. This is BEST BUY at There best. Lead you wrong. Take your money illegally, then lie and decieve you or even attempt to make a signature that they thinks looks like and is my signature. MY SIGNATURE IT IS NOT. If there were any honest people at BEST BUY they would have sent the entire contract. Not a cut out piece of paper with someone trying to copy my signature.

DON'T BUY ANYTHING FROM BEST BUY. Even though they've stop the "Frudulent Debt Collection" take your money services, they will start another Fraudulent Service soon if not already.
