Salesman told me that the manufacturer's warantee on two major appliances were good for only 30 days and I must buy the Best Buy Warantee for an additional $209.98 to get any service after 30 days. So I bought it, but fortunately on a credit card. Then I called both manufacturers, Frigidaire and General Electric and they said I did have a one year warantee and could buy extended warantees later if I wished for much less cost. After great difficulty and lots of runaround I was able to get Best Buy to cancel their phony warantee and credit my account.

They delivered the refrigerator but their delivery people who were to do the hook-up free of charge were unable to hook up the water line as they didn't have proper tools. So I hired a plumber to come in and hook it up. There was a very minor defect in the refrigerator requiring an easy fix and when I called Best Buy for someone to come fix it after having the refrigerator for one week they said I'd have to pay for service since an outside company made the actual connection. But they did offer to replace the refrigerator with a new one but I wouls have to pay to connect the new one.
