Best Buy refuses to honor their lowprice guarantee Philadelphia Pennsylvania
I purchased a big screen TV from best buy online after seeing it in the store. I do a lot of purchasing on the internet due to the fact that I don't have a lot of spare time to spend shopping. After making my purchase, i saw the exact same tv for $300 less, I wrote to best buy to find out how I would claim their low price guarentee only to be told they refuse to honor it because I made my purchase through their websight. They seem to be saying that internet customers aren't as important as in store customers.
I will never shop at best buy again, and hopefully this will save someone else the aggravation I went through.

Most people would consider it the legalese or fine print, but it is clearly stated in the Best Buy price match guarantee that we will not match an online price for any item, even from our own website. The cost to stock an item, pay an employee to sell the item, transport the item ( often mulitiple times) and store the item is generally much greater at a retail location. So, although online purchasing is usually less expensive, in this case it seems the online price was higher than at the retail location. In either case, the stipulation remains . . . online vs. retail price will not be a part of the price match guarantee.
