Why does merchant processor rip us off? We're so busy running our business and the last thing we need is fees on our statements that we're not aware of. On my December 2004 statement from Best Payment solutions, I was charged an annual fee of $45 out of the blue. What a shock? Had I not look through the statement, they'd get away with it. I'm sure they got a lot of people. I called in and complained and they soon told me that it would be credited back to the account. I haven't seen it yet, but why charge everyone's account in the first place. For those people interested in opening a merchant account, please seek someone that you know's referral. Don't be like me, just open an account with somebody I don't know and stuck with 3 year contract.
When I originally signed up, I was told that I would not get statement fee if I was view my statement online. Every month I get a $6 statement fee. This month it even started the $10 fee. Also the discounted rate would be 1.67% plus $.20 per transaction. It's been 6 months now, every d**n statement that I get I'm being charged the mid-qualified and non-qualified rates. It's really shitty. What a rip off? I'm stuck in a 3 year contract. Is there anyway of getting out of it without paying any penalty fee?
