my 2007 specialized s-works road bike fram was compramized and therefore qualified for a repalcement frame from specilized bicycle in california. specilaized request that you woprk through the bike shop where you bought the bike. I proceeded to do so, but the bike shop wanted me to buy a new bike 2017, versus provideding me a new replacement frame and requesting that bike frame from specialized.

after one month I contacted specilaized directly myself, as there was simply no help from bicycle haus, other than the fact they wanted to sell me an entire new bike for $5,000.  i told them i wanted a replacement frame and would most probably put new bike components on the bike (brakes, etc). bicycle haus became upset at the fact that I contacted specialized directly, but I had no other option after waiting now 6 weeks for anything to be done.

bicycle haus have a number of reviews on yelp.com that speaks of how arrogant they are in dealing with customers and how they have increased balances due on bikes after customer have had work and components added onto their bikes. that all said, the frame finally came into the shop, and I was told by specialized that a new seat post was included as free, as my old seat post could no be used from the old frame.

bicycle haus at my request put electronic sram bluetooth brakes and gears on the bike (sram e-Tap), at a cost of $3900.....or at least that's what I thought, but after the original $2000 deposit, I was told upon delivery that I owed another $600 on top of the $1900. Part of the $600 was the $200 for the seat post which was supposed to be free from specialized bikes.

I was frequently in touch directly with specialized throughout this entire process, because miles morales from bicycle haus was not proceeding with the request for the new frame, and emily from Specialzed bikes advised me that he needed to officlially place the request. this conversation was approximately 6 weeks into my initial request for a replacement frame. then after further investigation on sram's website, i noticed that the list pricing for the part that were added on the bikes, had a premium added of 15% over list price. i think it's disgisgusting that bicycle haus continues to treat customers this way and therefore this hould be brought to the attention of other customers.

i also paid $250 for the set-up and build of the bike, and that work was also done very poorly (Brakes sticking and gears jamming up)
