West Jordan,#2Consumer Suggestion

Before the personal attacks insue, please read this carefully. As with any business that works with the public you are only as good as your people. The situation you wrote of is not common or uncommon. I have worked in the automotive industry for seven years, nothing shocks me anymore. I have found it to be true that 90% of the time customers do tell the truth about their cars. I believe that you had a bad experience with a shop. My suggestion would be: Big O Tires is an independent franchise. There is someone above the manager: The Owner. I would contact him and explain the situation. This will get you a lot further than you think. There is also a 1-800 number that you can call. The program is such that owners typically do not want to have "unresolved complaints" against their stores. One final note personally the way I treat my customers-I write this because I have numerous customers who drive 40 miles past atleast 50 service shops to deal with me. I would never dig in my heals on something as inexpensive as one tire to save money. This is a quality that I share with most owners. I would have handled it. Case Closed! I am sorry for your bad experience. Remember one more thing when dealing with the owner, IF possible avoid personal attacks on him and just plainly ask for his help to resolve the situation. I hope this will help you. I will watch for your responce.
