My husband and i were looking for a new car last year 2001. We saw an ad for Bill Heard and a $500 coupon to go towards our downpayment. Well we gave them a call and they said if we come in they will assure we will get the car of our choice and match the $500 cert we had.We told them we only had $500 cash to put down which would have been a total of $1500 down payment.

Well we went over to Sanford the next day which is about 1 hour drive for us. We met the salesman we talk to on the phone and we did have a trade in which we had a couple thousand still left to pay on. So according to them they were going to payoff our veh. Which they did not it was tagged on our loan.

We told them we wanted a midsize car due to the size of our family. we went out on the lot and the salesman told us due to the little money we had only $500 we could not get a midsize car.We advised you told us you would give us $500 just for showing up. Plus anothjer $500 for the ad we had. So they said yes we can use it which will give us a total of $1500. Well they advised we did not qulify for a midsize car but they can oput us in a new caviler then in 6 months we can come back as long as we made our payments on time we can get a midsize car or refinance the veh. We told them we could not afford payments over $350 dollars.

They came to us with so many papers to sign and did not give us any explaination to what was going on. They told us that 6 months time our payments will drop if we refinance and decide to keep the car. They made us sign a paper to say we owe them $500 more dollars. So we were cheated out of $500 dollars on the the down payment. We have been making the payments on time for 7 months went back to them and they did not want to put us in a new car and told us to refinance. We tried and we have neen denied. Our payments are at $414 a month and the Finance company apolgise for the company misleading us and was nothing they could do.

It hurted me so that we were misled and made all these promises. they told us to hang in there for at least 6 months with the $412 paym and our payments will go down. Then we found out they sold us a demo and we were over charged for the car. NOw we cannot get out of the car because we owe way more than what the car is worth. When they siold us the car we told them we did not want it because it had not cass player only a radio did not know because it was a demo look like a rental. They told us don't worry because you are not going to be in this car not even a year.

Well whatever was promised to us has not came true for us. We have heard on our loccal news station so many people ripped off from Bill Heard. On top of that we were at this dealer for over 6 hours of promises. Now we feel really stupid that we let the car dlr ruin us on this care deal. We will never go back to them or recommend them to anyone.
