Anytime I hear of a customer doing what you did, I cringe. Why on earth would you even consider such a cockamamie scheme of CAR FLEECING? Yeah, I know. The Dealer told you what a GREAT deal it was. Guess what? He's EXACTLY right! Dealers love CAR FLEECING because there's MUCH MORE profit in it for THEM. If any salesman or car dealer tells you otherwise, he or she is LYING! It is autosales 101..."Try to get the poor sucker into a FLEECE. You'll get a bigger commission!" Is there something illegal, immoral or unethical about profit? Of course not! But when that profit comes from BOGUS fee's and surcharges, that's FRAUD! For example, grossly exaggerating the wear and tear charges...claiming you need to pay them $500-$2000 for excess w/t on a car that is used! You pay them and then they send the car to auction where you'll never see it again or the "repairs" you just paid for. LESSON TO BE LEARNED: No matter how great they make the deal sound, car leasing is CAR FLEECING! Avoid it like you would aids or cancer!

Everything was properly disclosed at the time of sale. All docs were reviewed and signed by the customer. Every figure was disclosed, and approved and signed by the customer. I think the customer was telling a friend what he got for his car when he traded it in, and the friend might have said " I would have bought it for more than that". This might have got the customer thinking I could have got more for my car than I did. In an attempt to help the customer feel better about his purchase, we made an adjustment to the original deal, in the customers favor. I'm sorry our customer was not pleased with the deal, but I don't know what else could be done to resolve this matter. Sincerely,
