Billy Blanks.com - Billy Blanks Rip-off. If you want to pay 5 times what is advertised, place an order. CLIFTON New Jersey
I sat down one Saturday and found Billy Blanks doing his informercial. I checked it out and decided to buy for the $39.00. I picked up the phone and called the number.
I got an automated phone system that walked me through the steps. I was ask that in addition to my order would I like to get an extra set of Billy Bands, I replied "NO", they ask again, I replied with "No". Then they wanted me to join the vitamin club, again I replied with "NO". They wanted to ship me more DVD's I said "NO".
Finally after the order was done, I felt assured that my order was correct. But when I got my first order, I found that the price was $59.00 for the DVD set not $39.00 and the S/H was $20.00. They didn't give out the shipping info over the automated order process. Then two days later I recieve another shipment of DVD's that I didn't order, which they charged me $89.70 + $17.70 S/H. That is $107.40 that I didn't authorize.
I called them up and after talking to 4 different people in the chain of command. Told me that unfortunatly the onlything that I could do is return it minus the S/H. And I have to pay for the S/H back to them.
RIPOFF for sure. I decided to send both of them back and take the loss. Better they get $40 than get $190 from me. Talk about a RIPOFF. 8 out of 10!
