We have had a nightmare experience with the worst kid's organization, Black Belt Academy-Litchfield Park.  My son went there for almost 3 years.  It was sold to a new owner Master Lee in Feb. 2011.  We signed a contract in Dec. 2010 to go there with the old owners.  They moved the place with out telling us and changed that info on the Contract without our knowing.  My son went there and tried his best.  The owner always bullied him which was witnessed by every member of our family on a consistent basis.  He was promised he could take a mid-term test, we paid for and they never gave it. We were always told just come one more time to practice.  We did this 4 times and they did not give test.  We advised them not to charge our credit card but they did for a test they did not give us.  Discover Card investigated and took care of this.  My son also left a weapon there and they never returned it.

Our main reason for quitting was because my son was told to stand On a pile of sharp rocks and do his karate form.  This hurt him and he cried, he was 8 years old. He was told to toughen up and get back on the rocks.  I stopped this.  He was told to do it at home.  I contacted a manager right after and told them we quit. My son was scared of Master Lee and felt physically threatened.  We emailed that day and explaining our Reason for quitting and left a voicemail.  They never responded and we left voicemail that night.  We also contacted the National ATA office as well as one instructor of the previous owner. We also sent this to the place that processes our payments and told them we would not be attending.  Now they want us to pay almost $3000 to a place that my son or anyone we know would never attend.  Today they called for the first time ever. They said they would get an attorney.

My father offered them $300 to leave us alone (4 months of fees).  Please help us.
