If you're looking for windows, shutters or screens, do yourself a favor and avoid Black Rhino Hurricane products and Alex Makenian of Boca Raton. He's a classic contractor to avoid in our opinion, we had a horrible experience with this guy. Definitely have him pull a permit to do the work, if he doesnt and asks you to pay in cash... LOOK OUT! I'd run if I were you. Try another, reputable company.

Warning!! It looks like Black Rhino Hurricane Products is now installing under Southeast Building Group in Boca Raton - AVOID!!
Black Rhino and Alex Makenian should be avoided, dishonest business practices and shoddy work are his trademarks - in our opinion, best move to next window company.
Black Rhino has and does install custom windows that are ordered incorrectly sized. We've seen this done up close on major jobs. When you do that, install a window too small, the problem you will have isnt immediate, it will take time for moisture to get into the area where the extra space in the window frame is, when it does, the window will start to deteriorate rapidly - and you, the customer, will NEVER KNOW.
Also, Black Rhino installs impact windows, but these super strong windows can most all be broken into with a simple credit card! Yup, just jimmy the sliding lock and bam! you're into the property, not a secure impact window at all. Try it for yourself!
If you do hire either of these companies, whatever you do, do not take a discount for payment in cash, you will have no proof of the installation work. If you don't get a permit you will have to later when you sell your home or code enforcement pays you a visit, Black Rhino will be long gone, and you will ned up with a huge fine.
In my opinion you should: AVOID BLACK RHINO HURRICANE PRODUCTS AND SOUTHEAST BUILDING GROUP in BOCA
