Rob and Todd run a great sub shop. Blimpie as a company has had issues, but this store is everything it should be. I guess if they're going to "rip me off" by omitting a 0.25 oz triangle of cheese, so be it. I come here every Wednesday, and will continue to; these are the best subs in Lansing.

First I do not like the subs, they are not tasty to me anymore, it appears the two people who work at this blimpie may seem like cousins, because they look like twin brothers. almost, so I can see why people would think that.
Most six inch subs you get two slices of cheese, and 4 slices with a foot long. That is true for blimpie nationwide, it is the same in chicag or kansas or michigan.
So anyone who has ever been to a blimpie sub and had a sub would know what to expect in terms of chees portion on the sub offered. So comparing what you expect and where you think your being ripped off, if you get less offered than the the national franchise standard, that is upto people to decide what to make of that, it is not cool, that is all i can say.
The loyalty blimpie card is something that can be checked off and/or clipped, which shows how many subs you have and then if have an x number you get one free. I think all franchise's should honor the clipping and stamping of the loyalty card, and offer a free sub on the 10th or 7th amount of sub or whatever the promotion is, but even if you do not want to offer the free sub, but clipping or checking off the loyalty card with the special blimpie cutter/checker so that a consumer can at least use the national loyalty card at another blimpie is reasonable to expect, not even encouraging repeat business for the blimpie brand, when you have nothing to loose, is somewhat questionable.
As far as the mismanagement, and the other blimpie franchises closing down in the lansing area, I am not sure if you consider declaring chapter 7 and/or 11 bankruptcy is considered mismanagement, but that is what appears to happen in the case of those two franchises closing. Maybe it also had to do with the fact, that subway is open till 1 am and blimpie shuts at nine pm, and in a college town, that may not be such a good idea.
I am not sure either who the our is, but this whole website is opinion and just that. This is not factual, people need to realize that, all this is opinions of people and thats it. I do not like this blimpie sub shop not because the staff is not to my liking or otherwise, the subs are just not suiting my style, and i will go elsewhere to get my subs.

betting these people are either Ex-Employees or competitors.
First to Sarah....
So the owner Robert and his cousin Todd who run this place ripoff customers
- So just how do you know that Robert is the owner and Todd is a cousin?
So if you have a loyalty card, they will not even punch in after you have subs at their place, it is a huge racket.
- Well wouldn't that make sense. If they don't honor any of the "national" promotions, why would they punch your card?
These people are sick and disgusting in our opinion
- Who is the "our" in "our" opinion?
Perhaps the "our" is also Nicole, which would explain why she agrees with the Original poster.
It is obvious with a six inch you get two slices and with a foot long you get 4 slices of cheese, you do not need to be rocket scientist.
- It's obvious? Probably not to any rocket scientist, but I would bet people that have worked there would know.
In the last few years, two blimpie's in lansing closed down due to mismanagement.
- And just how do you know it was "mismanagement"

Actually, I agree with the initial poster, this blimpie is a lost cause.
It is obvious with a six inch you get two slices and with a foot long you get 4 slices of cheese, you do not need to be rocket scientist. That is standard practice even at non blimpie sub shops. I do not understand how the other consumer missed that obvious point.
I also think it is highly likely that national corporate knows about this and is looking to alternative franchisee's. In the last few years, two blimpie's in lansing closed down due to mismanagement. So it is not surprising to hear they are taking a slowly guarded approach.
As far as the scams's at this place. I would just call it poor service, poor customer service, poor product management. They do not really care about your business or the customer, instead of placing customer requests first, they are often rude and cheap. I do not think the food is good here and I have taken my business elsewhere.Good to know I am not alone. I do not care what the owners say. I have given them many opportunities to improve. But they are just a family run joint, not looking for much improvement, but i think just stable cash flow to pay the bills. Blimpie can go downhill for all that matters, here.

You can notify the Blimpies corporate franchise office and you can take your business elsewhere.
How do you know how much cheese SHOULD be provided?
Also, I sent a link to the Lansing Blimpies advising of this report.
I ALWAYS like to hear both sides of a story.
