BlogBlaster By Sebastian Foss Software promises to post your ad to 2 million blogs. It acts like it does, but doesn't. Website Address No Longer Valid Internet
This software promises to post your ad to blogs that the software selects based on key words that you provide related to your ad. It goes through the motions, but if you follow-up by checking the selected blogs, you find that nothing was posted.
Unfortuntely, I did not discover this until I had spent a great deal of time using the software and then it was only by accident.
I had sent an ad, but forgot to save it. In the circumstances, I felt that I should double check the blogs that should have been posted so that I didn't repeat the posting to those sites.
I checked about a half dozen sites and not only did I find that the ad had not been posted to the selected sites, it became evident that for technical reasons such a program could not possibly do what it promised.
I then discovered that I had no means of contacting the promoter of the software, Sebastian Foss, as the promotional website had disappeared and the original email that I had received promoting the product actually had no return address.
I proceded to file a claim through Paypal with the vendors payment processor. The result of that claim is still unknown. The software was promoted with a 100% No-Risk, Money Back Guarantee. We'll see.
I should also note that a significant factor in my decision to purchase the software was a strong testimonial on the original promotion site by a well known Internet Marketer. I have sent him an email advising him of the problem with this program.
