Tell us has your experience with this business or person been good? What's this?

These are multiple issues starting from the beginning. We went to their RV show at the greyhound park and purchased a 5th wheel trailer from them. When looking at the unit and deciding to go forward I noticed above the kitchen table the light bulbs were missing as they were in a cubby hole by the radio. I noticed those bulbs as well as a few other lights had LED light bulbs in the light housing. I asked if they would put back in and the sales guy went on about how they do a huge inspection of the RV to make it road ready. When we picked it up all the bulbs had been changed back to regular bulbs and all the nice LED bulbs had been removed. Onto the next step, we decided to go thru with an offer to purchase it, we discussed that to make the deal we wanted a gooseneck hitch included and installed in my truck to tow the trailer. He said I don't know if they'll go for that as that hitch setup is about $1600. He went to submit the offer and came back and said that hitch setup is more like $1800. We said unless its included there is NO DEAL. The sales guy came back and said he'd split the hitch with us so we pay $900. I sent one of my co-workers to Blue Dog RV to buy same hitch as he really liked it and he paid little over $500 for it. So between the Andersen Adapter and the B&W hitch in the truck comes to around $900 or so not including installation, which is the amount we agreed to split but really sounds like I paid for the whole hitch as they lied about hitch costing $1600-$1800 when really it only costs about half of that which means I paid the full amount and it was NOT split. Andersen Ultimate 5th wheel hitch: $500 Andersen Pin Box Safety chain kit $80 B&W Gooseneck turnover ball $440 Grand Total comes to $1020 minus of course installation and sales tax. Blue Dog Rv must have a different calculator than I do. We went ahead with it and moved on to the next step which was doing a credit app. I am very cautious about my credit and specifically told the sales guy before even filling out the app that I was already pre-approved thru my credit union. He said we still need to fill out the credit app. So I did and told him DO NOT submit this thru S*** credit union as it will be an automatic denial, he said look I'll let him know. Few days later I get a credit denial from S*** credit union after I specifically told them not to. So now I have a credit inquiry on my credit report that shouldn't even be there. I know more about how credit works than they think. I talked to the general finance manager on 04-22-16 about that as well as other issues and he gave me some excuse that it will only be on my credit for 30 days. It's a hard inquiry so it will be on there for 3 years. I feel they need to have it removed from my credit report. So next issue is getting the hitch installed in the truck. I dropped my truck off for the installation on 4-07-16 and they were gonna install the hitch 4-08-16 and be ready to pick my truck up after work. I go to Blue dog Rv to pickup my truck and wait around for about an hour or so and they finally come out and tell me there is an issue with the hitch install. So we walk back to the maintenance shop to my pickup and they tell me they cut a 4" hole in the bed of my truck about 5 to 5 1/2" to far back, as the hitch they were trying to install in my long bed truck is in fact meant for a short bed truck. They said they would weld the 4" cut piece back into the bed and they'd have to get the spray in bed liner fixed. Shop foreman said he could get my hitch installed correctly but I would have to bring my truck back the following week to get my bed liner fixed. So they had one of their maintenance techs give me a ride home and he told me on the way home that his boss paced back and forth for about 20 mins cause they didn't know how to tell me they cut a 4" hole in the wrong spot in my truck. So after learning about the mistake they made I went home and made some calls on the bed liner. I made calls to 5 different dealers that do spray in bed liners and they all said you CAN NOT fix my spray in bed liner. Only way to fix it would be to peal off whole liner and re-spray the whole bed again. They all had said that spraying new bed liner over old bed liner would over time peel off like snake skin. So we went back to Blue Dog Rv 04-09-16 to pickup my truck and trailer at this point and they took my truck to a 3rd party to have bed liner fixed. They did exactly what the 5 dealers I called said NOT to do and that was spray new bed liner over old bed liner. I told them that I want in writing on Blue Dog letter head that if the bed liner peels or doesn't hold up like it should long term that they will be held accountable for replacing the spray in bed liner and making it right, they said ok they would give that guarantee to me in writing but haven't received anything yet. Then on top of that they sprayed new bed-liner on the floor and side walls of the bed of the truck but did NOT do the tailgate so nothing blended or matched at all. I told them that was not satisfactory to me and I want the tailgate sprayed so it would match. When picking up the truck and trailer on 04-09-16 I specifically asked "this bed liner was just freshly sprayed if we put weight from the trailer on the hitch in the back of the truck is it going to leave an imprint in the new bed liner"? They said that their 3rd party assured them that by 3:00pm it would be good to go and shouldn't leave an imprint. We hooked up the trailer and headed home and unhooked the trailer and sure enough it left a nice rectangular imprint in the new spray in bed liner. The following week on 04-19-16 I dropped off the tailgate to have it sprayed with bed liner so it would match the rest of the truck. The service manager said I will get this to our 3rd party so can get sprayed right away, he said when do you wanna pick it up? I said I'll just check back Friday and he said that will work I'll make sure to have it back by then. Then on Thursday 04-21-16 I had some airbags installed (not by Blue Dog RV) and when they were under the truck they asked me if I knew that my gooseneck hitch (that Blue Dog RV just installed) was missing a bolt. On 04-22-16 I went to Blue Dog RV to pick up my tailgate and bring the missing bolt to their attention. They immediately pulled my truck around and put in the missing bolt and said they went thru the whole hitch and re-torqued all the bolts to make sure they were all tight. While all this was happening they sent someone to pickup my tailgate from their 3rd party. After waiting around an hour the service manager tells me the tailgate IS NOT done and it'd be beginning of next week (04-25 or 04-26) before they would have it ready. After all this I went down to the sales building to talk to someone higher up. I was not satisfied with all the mistakes and issues Ive gone thru and I wanted something to be done about it. I wanted them to buy the trailer back and I do not want to do business with Blue Dog RV ever again. The general manager said hold on let me make a few calls and find out whats going on. He comes out of his office and says that so and so is gonna give me a ride back down to the Service/Parts dept. (basically shifting me off to someone else). Once get back to the service/parts department, we were out in parking lot and it was service manager and someone else and all I got was excuse after excuse. I feel with everything that has happened something needs to be done. I voiced my issues with shop foreman and was pawned off to the service manager. Nothing was being done and was getting excuses so I went to General manager and was once again pawned off back to the service manager. Their way of handling things was just to dump me off to another department. I've spent between 3-6 hours driving and waiting around the dealership and used my fuel driving back and forth for nothing but excuses and mistakes. Their way of fixing everything is topping off my gas tank. Then on 04-26-16 Blue Dog RV called and said we are going to bring your tailgate to you so its not an inconvenience to you, so where would you liked us to meet you at. I stated meet me at the local taco place. As I'm siting there waiting for them to meet me at 3:00, they call at 3:20 and say they got busy and aren't going to be able to meet me so they say how about thursday 4-28-16. We meet at a local restaurant parking lot and go to grab tailgate and before I even touch it there are chunks of bed liner missing and it is still sticky, it wasn't even cured yet. I told their driver Im not taking this it needs to be re-done yet again. So they took and had it fixed for a 3rd time. Finally got my tailgate back the following week on 5-3-16. I have asked them on 04-09-16, 04-22-16, 4-25-16, 05-10-16, 05-12-16 for a letter on Blue Dog RV letterhead stating that if my bed liner starts to peel or flake off that Blue Dog RV will take liability for their wrong doing and correct my bed liner the correct way. As of today I still have yet to receive that letter. I have called numerous times and they DO NOT return calls. I have file complaints with them, have tried talking to there general manager and have even filed complaint with BBB. Blue Dog RV just hides from the issues and brushes you under the rug. I have given them pretty simple solutions to these problems. Exchange the hitch setup for one that is more comparable to the so call $1800 they said we would split in the deal. And remove the credit inquiries from my credit report. Pretty simple if you ask me.
