Blue Green Resorts - Branson RIP OFF Branson Missouri
My husband and I purchased a Bluegreen points timeshare in 2009 at a time when I was fighting Cancer. I was literally in the middle of treatment – not knowing if I would make it or not. After I was declared cancer free both of us lost our jobs - 2011. We have not even used this timeshare but we did pay it off completely. We have found that it does not meet our needs, no one wants to buy it, cannot give it away, was misrepresented to me at sale and was extremely hard to book. After trying to cancel our contract by talking with Bluegreen I found that they would not budge an inch in letting me out even though I had paid in full.
The maintanence fees were rising every year and health problems forced me to stop paying the maintanence fees. I tried to sell the points thru a company that Bluegreen suggested only to be ignored by the company and insulted by Bluegreen by being turned over to a collection agency.
We are currently in the process of getting an Attorney. I did see where another person contacted the Attorney General…we may go that route.
My recomendation is to steer clear of anything related to Bluegreen. They have lied , misrepresented information, denied things that they told me during the sale, threatening to turn us over to collections, charging ridiculous finance charges…
There is a lot more detail to this drama but it is enough to say, if you see anything from Bluegreen you better grab the spouse run for your life. It's a money pit and it will drag you down. RUN!!!
