Just for everybody's info...both Blue Hippo and Tronix Country are in the revolving credit business related to their selling of computers. BOTH companies have come under heavy criticism for their business practices. Blue Hippo has previously filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection and has been under investigation by the Federal Trade Commission. The Better Business Bureau not only has received massive complaints, but has also revoked Blue Hippo's BBB accreditation and giving them an "F" rating.
(You can read more info by entering the following in your Internet browser's search box: Blue Hippo Wikipedia).
Tronix Country, ironically, was started by a former executive of Blue Hippo! This company, like Blue Hippo, has also come under fire for its business practices. Most people are probably aware that these type of companies typically cater to those with less than perfect credit.
As one person has already stated elsewhere...for the money a person has to pay the business before they will even ship the computer...one could take that money and just save it, then purchase the same computer for cash AND for a lot less than what a person would pay these companies all total.
From what I've read on this site...it seems customers have to remit around 13 payments before the computer is shipped. One additional thought here is that in this type business there are probably quite a few people who end up returning their computers for one reason or another. You can bet these companies are turning around and re-selling them to new customers and probably stating the computers are brand new.
Buyer beware!
