My letter to BlueMountain.com:

"I only wanted to send a greeting card to to my couins congratulating them on the  the birth of their new baby & up came BlueMountain.com in a search.  I made a one time (or so I thought) PayPal payment of $9,99 to Bluemountain.com on Nov. 25, 2009. I was annoyed to find out that it was extremely time consuming & difficult to send one greeting card to a couple of people because mu computer kept locking up, even with a high speed connection. The recipients of the card have broadband connections and still had difficulty opening & reading the email due to excruciately slow download issues.  I put 2 & 2 together a week later when a Trojan virus ate up my computer rendering it useless and expensive to fix.

I had no intention of buying a monthly suscription only paying for a one time trial.  Which was a disaster. I have not visited your website or purchased any greeting cards from your site since November 25, 2009 I was taken a back when I was billed again on Dec. 18, 2009 for a continuous monthly subcription that I did not authorize or order! Your billing practices are deceptive & fraudulent and I demand that you cancel my account & refund the $9.99 which was illegally deducted from my PayPal account on Dec. 18, 2009.  I prefer to resolve this with you rather than taking the dispute to PayPal.  I would appreciate your immediate cooperation in this matter.  Thank you in advance."

Blue Mountain responded to my about email (which they never ever even read) requiring me to make phone call to a "customer service" line in order to cancel.  I think not!

Here is my letter to BlueMountain.com:

"I only wanted to send a greeting card to my cousins congratulating them on the  the birth of their new baby & up came BlueMountain.com in a search.  I made a one time (or so I thought) PayPal payment of $3.99 to Bluemountain.com on Nov. 25, 2009. I was annoyed to find out that it was extremely time consuming & difficult to send one greeting card to a couple of people because mu computer kept locking up, even with a high speed connection. The 3 recipients of the greeting card have broadband connections and still had difficulty opening & reading the email due to the 3rd party cookies & malware planted by the BM website. Later that day,  a worm or virus infected my computer so badly I had to have it reformatted at an expensive repair shop.

I had no intention of buying a monthly subscription only paying for a one time "free" trial, which I payed for & was a disaster. I have not visited  or gone near your your scary website or purchased any greeting cards from your site since that first day Nov. 25, 2009, so I was not happy when PayPal sent me an email saying BM had withdrawn $$ account when it billed me again on Dec. 18, 2009 for a continuous monthly membership that I did not authorize or order!

Your billing practices are deceptive & fraudulent and I demand that you cancel my account & refund the money which was illegally deducted from my PayPal account on Dec. 18, 2009.  It would be better for both parties to resolve this matter with you rather than taking the dispute to PayPal.  I would appreciate your immediate cooperation in this matter.  Thank you in advance."

Do you think Blue Mountain read my email? No! They responded with an automated email requiring me to call to a "customer service" line in order to cancel.  No way!  According to dozens of other consumer complaints about tihs company they will waste my time giving me the run around.  Fortunately, I used PayPal because I get an email with every transaction.
