Blue Water Charters AKA Chaser Sportfishing Worst sport fishing company in Costa Rica. Los Suenos Costa Rica
Blue Water Charters, also known as Chaser Sportfishing, is NOT a reputable company, and the owner especially is not to be trusted. I dont want to go into detail, but let me just say DO NOT TRUST HIM. He is the "new kid on the block" in Los Suenos, who does not even know how to fish there yet, and yet he has an attitude bigger than his boat, and you can bet he will not be around for long, so don't send deposits to him in advance because he very likely will not be there by the time you arrive.
Just stay away from Blue Water Charters and Chaser Sporfishing unless you want to get screwed over and yelled at, because everything is either his way or the highway. Do yourself a favor and book with one of the many reputable, FRIENDLY, and profesional companies in Los Suenos and have yourself a great time fishing without all the drama. Just say no to a**holes, and just say no to Blue Water Charters and Chaser Sportfishing.

My name is Brent the owner of Chaser Sport Fishing, we operate out of Quepos CR not Los Suenos Cr. The only credible fact in this report dated June 26th 2013 is the name Chaser Sport Fishing and that we are relatively new in Quepos CR. I would really like to speak with the author of this BS,, I am sure you have my contact info if not 506-2888-8710. True I have not been in CR as long as some but have fished the Pacific Mx, Ca &, Hawaii for 27yrs so I have a little fishing knowledge. I do have a boat in Los Suenos but it is my personel boat not a charter boat. I purchased Blue Water, 2 years ago and immediately changed the name to Chaser Sport Fishing so the references to Blue Water are a little surprising. You are also incorrect about were we fish from, we only charter from Quepos CR, Marina Pez Vela with our 2 boats we keep their. I am not the Capt or crew member on either charter boat, but I do have excellent employees on these boats that have received very good reviews. We almost won the Offshore World Cup Tournament this year in Quepos with the Sea Quester and Capt John and Jorge, 68 teams from 38 countries around the world, 4 man teams, not to bad for some one who does not know anything about fishing. You referred to me personally, again, I do not run any charter boat, but my crews are very good and have been in Quepos all of their lives!! We do have a nice web site that has received good results www.chasersportfishing.com, and we work with many agents and Vacation providers in Central America and seem to have a very good relationship as they continue to book our boats in Quepos. We also book complete fishing trips, all inclusive and are receiving deposits now for the coming season beginning in Dec 2013, the latest DEPOSIT received was $8500.00 (50%) from a group that fished with us last year, the month of Feb 2014 is almost booked, all with deposits for fishing with Chaser Sport Fishing in Quepos Costa Rica.
About me, I sold my company to an International Co, 7 years ago after 30 yrs in business. Because of our excellent reputation in business and the quality level of my business, I retired at 50 yrs old and have been fishing since. I will be in business in Cr as long as I want to be, I do not rely on chartering as my lively hood, we will achieve the same excellence in CR as I did in the US. I do not believe I will ever hear from the author of the BS posted, but I would truly enjoy speaking to this person, as they obviously know very little about Chaser Sport Fishing not blue water????
