Tasha, By what I read you took delivery and even let them install a hot tub on your property. That is a quality tub and they have a sales agreement with Thermo spas then in territories to sell them. You have signed for receving it in new condition, well it is yours now. I can understand if Thermo spas advertised no payments until 07 upset you. If I were you I would try to work it out, and as well whomever holds your purchase agreement/ financing, call them and tell all, perhaps they will let you defer payments as you thought. It sounds like perhaps the sales person mislead you or you mis understood. If your contract states that you are placing your home as collaterial then yes just like a pool they can attach it and a forced sell. I am in sales and it is a shame all of this occured but I look at it from my side as well, I have had too many homeowners lie and say anything they can to get out of paying for something. Sometimes the glitter wears off and the reality sets in and then people want a way out. This as well is how companies and judges look at it too. That is why we have contracts and the receision law printed in bold ink. It is not uncommon for companies to contract out sales organizations to sell their products. Most the sales people are independent contractors, because these companies do not have to pay into benefits and certain laws do no apply. if something sounds too good to be true like a pool for $299 installed then of course it is, but the Thermo spas are qulaity hot tubs, wish you luck..

They keep on hitting there site,so that Rip Off Report does come up when people seach. Tasha, help your felow North Carolinians. Don't let this company take advatage of any more people.
