Blue World Pools high pressure sales, rip off , Carson City Nevada*UPDATE.. Blue World Pools considered to be industry experts at turn-key above ground swimming pool sales, finance, installation and service.
After having the salesman come into our home and spend four and a half hours giving us a ninety minute presentation on this "fabulous" pool we agreed to purchase one.
We gave him a check for $2500.00 for a down payment. He left our house at 11:30 pm and we went over the figures and decided that it was too much money to spend on a pool.
In their contract it states you have three days to cancel without penalty or obligation. We sent them the required cancellation forms overnite mail the very next day. It states in the contract that if you cancel any property or monies that have been transfered will be returned to you within ten days. After sending the forms a sales rep called and offered a better deal on the pool and I still told him no only to find out ten days later that our check had been presented to our bank. I am now in the process of trying to get my money back. I just wanted to let as many people as possible know what to expect when dealing with these people.

Thanks for saving us from making the biggest mistake of our lives! Who knew? If we hadn't gone to look for BW Pool info and found them on this site, we'd be listening to some jerk for 90 minutes tomorrow! The idiot called 3 times today to make sure he could keep his appointment tomorrow, early this morning, 3 pm and at 7:30pm he called. Well its now 10:13PM and hubby is calling him to cancel the appointment, warning him NOT to show up on our property tomorrow. Luckily we have a BIG back yard with an equally BIG DOG that won't let anyone back there so there will be no 'site survey' tomorrow or any other time! Thanks for reporting these rip off agents. Hey and guess what? We were going to pay CASH too. All we need is a small pool for our granddaughter to play in this summer. I read that they aren't interested in people that pay CASH! Ridiculous! We called these idiots because of their TV advertisement then followed by a magazine ad. They looked legit but when I called and talked to the lady that answered their number she had "No idea" what products they offered,the prices, the finance charge. NOTHING. All she said is 'we'll schedule an appointment for you and to get the free installation you'll have to listen to the full 90 minute presentation" Well...BS! So thanks again. Sorry for all the people that have gotten ripped off by this scam company. Have any of you reported them to the BBB in their area?
