I fell for the ad, The salesman came out and boy was he slick. Everything I have read about other Blue world salesmen on here is correct. He even borrowed my tape measure to show me the size of the pool and took about 10 minutes to pick a spot.

He called into the office 3 times to talk to his "BOSS", and they finally got the price down to the rockbottom, at cost price of $9211.00, which I figured was a fair price for fully installed pool, with all the equipment included....and you don't need chemicals!! (yeah right)

Anyway, after the salesman left and I started going over the whole thing in my head, and after completely reading the iron clad, totally rambling and totally confusing contract, that you would need a law degree to decipher in less that 2 hours, contract, I finally decided to do some research on this company, so I went on the internet, and lo and behold I found this site..and a couple others as well, after reading most of the posts on this site and reading all about blue world pools, I about freaked out.

To make a long story short, The salesman was here on a Saturday, I looked them up that night, and realized what a scam I had gotten myself involved in. I immediately typed up two letters of cancellation and first thing Monday morning I went to the post office and sent them overnight express mail with a return receipt, just so there was no question on when they received them.

I sent the first to their supposed warehouse, or drop box if you will, at 2533 N. Carson St. STE 4925, Carson City NV 89706.

The second letter, I went online and found their corporate office address at 120 Interstate North Pkwy SE, STE 426 Atlanta GA 30339.

I also filed a complaint with the BBB's in Nevada, and Georgia for questionable sales practices.

I got a call about 7 days later from them stating that they would like to get me a full refund, all they needed was a copy of the front and back of my cashed check. I informed them that they had not cashed my check, and they should send it back to me. They also replied to my complaint with the BBB that they would be happy to refund if I would send them a copy of the cashed check, I replied back to them again that they should send me my check back since they did not cash it. I have not heard back from them yet, and have been checking my accounts periodically, but they still have not cashed the check.

Part of their reply to the BBB, was that they had done nothing illegal. While this may be true, what they did was certainly immoral, and I would recommend to anyone thinking of buying a pool from them, to think twice. I dodged a big bullet, but you may not.....

I think the trick is to send out the cancellation letters, and then open a complaint with the BBB. Kind of an end around play, hit em while they are not looking. When I talked to them on the phone they were real polite and were very apologetic. I also found out that the salesman they sent out here was fired. I can only say he should have done his homework as well, before getting hooked up with this company. Well, I did dodge a bullet, and this whole thing has made me more wary of people with a great deal than I have ever been before.
