Bluegreen Resort Timeshare company poses as though you won a vacation Boca Raton Nationwide
I was contacted last summer by a company called Bluegreen resorts saying I had won a vacation through a contest at the mall. I am certain I did not fill out any entry form for a free vacation since I never go on vacation and don't want to. When I told them to give it to the next person in line, they told me I had to take the prize or give them the name of someone I wanted to give it to. I gave them a name (much to my regret) and told them not to call me again please.
It's been several months and I've been called 5 times... twice in the last week. My last conversation I told the representative that I do not want their vacation and to take my name off of their calling list. He said a simple "NO" and continued to try to force me to take the vacation package. I told him I would be calling the Better Business Bureau on them for harassment.
I never gave them my phone number. They had to have gotten it from some store at the mall that shares information. I wish I knew what store so I could report them too. This is clearly a high pressure scam and not a contest that I won. I warn anyone not to take their line of BS.

Hi, Sorry to hear that you are getting calls. I am a Bluegreen owner and have had lots of wonderful holidays but haveing said that if you do not take holidays then its not for you. Over here in the Uk we have a number to contact via phone company which cuts out all cold sell calls (we over here also get the same kind of calls from different companies) so try your phone company. If all else fails a friend of mine told me that he once had same problem so he told them he was not interested and if they continued the call he simply asks "what colour underwear are they wearing " this always results in them endding the call. Just an idea.
