BoDog Poker not only will not return my money but has used my visa card on another site to my full limit. Or they sold my visa card infor to someone else who used it.

How did Bodog get my full credit card information?  When I was asking to have my money send back, Bodog requested a copy of my photo id (my driver's license) copy of both front and back of my visa card, hence they have the 3 numbers used on the back of the credit card.

Bodog stated they needed this information to verify me before they could send my money back, but after they had this, they gave me some song and dance about me not meeting a requirement to send it back.  All I want is the balance send back.

I have called several times to get their address and or location and all I get from them is Bodog asking me why I need it.  Well...  I need it so I can file a complaint against them, which is what I have done at the Internet Fraud Complaint Center.  http://www.ic3.gov/default.aspx

I called my Visa card holder and together we called the place where the card was used who told us that the card user had the full information, mailing address, etc of that visa card, but that they would send back the money in three days..  Meanwhile I have to have that card destroyed and make a new card.  Not fun.

I am now trying to make everyone whoever wants to play or bet on BoDog aware of this problem.  Do NOT send them any money and if you playing on their site for free and make money, it is more likely you will not get that money sent to you either!

Good luck and stay away from BoDog.

I received email from BoDog's Financial Services Manager a few days after I filed this report.  Here is what their email said:

During a recent quality control review, we listened to two calls that we received from you on January 15th. During the course of the call it seemed that you were experiencing frustration, and when the call came to an end, you were not satisfied. Customer Service is something that Bodog prides itself on, and we strive to make every interaction with our customers a positive one. As such we would like to speak to you again in order to resolve any outstanding issues and turn this experience around for you. If you respond to this email and let us know a good time for us to give you a call, we will arrange for one of our Managers to call you back. Please mark any email for the attention of the Financial Services Manager.

We look forward to speaking with you.

I replied to this email and in the course of conversation, they offered to pay me $50 to help them found out who it was that used my credit card information.  I did some research, but could not get anyone to provide me the information (privacy act).  BoDog gave me the $50 for the difficulties I suffered.

They sent back my money plus the extra $50 and I have now received these funds by FedEx right to my front door.

I am pleased that they have responded to my complaint and I may use Bodog again in the future.  I guess everyone should always be careful when dealing through the internet.
